There are many improvements which could have been made in
this music video. Also there are many things which were good
about it. Firstly, one thing that I feel was good is the cross
cutting to the narrative. This was used very effectively as it
made the music video better.
Also I liked the fact that in the opening of the video, the
exercise which the people were doing happened in time with
the music.
The hand gestures in the video made it clear it was a hip hop
video. Also the setting of the gym and basketball court
established to the people watching that it was a hip hop video.
The gym and basketball court matched the music as prison is
associated with gym and basketball and many people within a
prison spend their time in a basketball court playing basketball
or are in the gym working out.
They could have made it more ‘’prison like’’ by for example
having the people in the video, wearing some sort of uniform
which symbolised that they were in a prison.

2. Billionaire analysis
The aspects of the video which was good are the fact that
the video related to the song. They were having fun and
seemed to be enjoying themselves and this is what the
music video was about.
Their facial expressions really stood out and I believe this
was the video’s best assets, because it completely
matched the song. The aspect ratio at one point was
completely wrong as the size of the video did not match
the screen. At some point of the video it was too
dark, they could’ve improved the lighting. The lip syncing
at one point was faulty, this should have been avoided.
Although the video starts off extremely well, I feel towards
the middle and the end of the video they ran out of
footage. They ended up being very repetitive. The ending
of the video was extremely well done, when one jumps on
the others back. It was a perfect send off and a perfect
way in which to end the video.

3. 16 at war and written in the stars
analysis
16 at war could have had many improvements, for instance the scene where in which the
girl was in the toilet looking into a mirror, she repeatedly looked at the camera which she
should not have done. The beginning was good but after that the video got extremely
repetitive and frankly turned out to be boring.
In the video there were many good fades, which were used effectively to improve the
video. Also the video had 2 parts to it, the story and the girl singing, this was used well.
The black and white feature was used effectively and was a good effect to have. It was
easy to establish that it was an RNB video as the singer had slow movements, the wind
blew her hair and she seemed sad. All 3 of these are usually used in RNB music video’s.
Written in the star:
The video had nothing to do with the song, the setting was completely wrong, the
lighting was poor and also the lip syncing was poor. The singers had no emotions in their
faces and were out of time a lot.
There was barely any good things for this video, the only good thing was the scene
where the guy was playing the piano.
They were running around in the corridors and sitting down and talking, this Is
completely irrelevant to the song. It was not clear was type of music video it was.
