This allowed us to experiment more with techniques like mise-en-scene, camera angles, editing, sound design and special effects. Our team also worked more efficiently by identifying individual strengths and allocating separate roles for filming and editing.

3) A larger variety of shot types were used in the final outcome compared to the preliminary, including establishing shots and pans to imply character traits, adhering more closely to film conventions.

- 2. TITLE SEQUENCE The order in which the shots takes place makes sense. This is as from the beginning the situation being presented in the opening is clear and understandable. There are a couple of shots placed in different areas and are different to how we initially planned it. This was done as a result of the group finding that certain shots looked better in different places.
- 3. QUALITY OF CAMERA WORK When filming we aimed to make sure the camera was steady and followed the 180 degree rule. Doing this enabled our shots to come out the best they could. Many of the shot were obtained evidently. However the were some shots that the group will have to go back and re-film due to some of the shots being unsteady due to an shaky tripod. Moreover there are some shots that are blurred and not if focus. This came as a result of us not setting the camera to the focus mode and not realising until we watched it back when editing.
- 4. VARIETY OF SHOT TYPES There are many different shot types we have used throughout our title sequence. We used close up shots as an indication of expression. A range of wide shots as an identification of setting. Over the shoulder shots were used to show what was being looked at or perhaps a conversation. But we used some pan shots. When it came to this type of shot there were times when the camera was unsteady an wobbly because we were rushing it etc.… Also some of the shots were slanted due to a faulty tripod.
- 5. USE OF LIGHTING For the first part of our opening we used natural day light. Later on in the sequence we used a light from the media department. The light somewhat helped when shooting parts of this particular scene. On the other hand the light didn’t make that much of a difference when shooting the scene. This lighting was still quite dim resulting in us using our flash lights on our phone. This sill didn’t help. Therefore we will have to go back and re-shoot the scene with a slightly bigger and better light.
- 6. PERFORMANCE OF CHARACTERS The performance of characters was good. They stayed I character. Their was little that needed re-shooting due to them. They did their best to portray their roles as best as possible. This enable our movie opening to be as worthy and professional as possible.
- 7. THE USE OF MISE-EN-SCENE The mise-en-scene throughout the title sequence was great. The costumes requires casual wear which was easy to get a hold of. The locations were both good. However there is graveyard scene was a slight weakness due to week lighting. The use of props changed slightly we used a photograph an a lighter.
