Comparison to our shoot.

2. Locations
• Majority of Maverick Sabre’s album covers and
music videos are filmed and shot in urban
locations.
• We have decided to film our performance shot
in an urban area of Bristol called St.
Werburghs.
• Majority of our narrative shots will be shot in
Yvette’s house.

3. Comparison
After our photo shoot and analysis of the video we
discovered that some of our shots were similar to
those used in Maverick Sabre’s video.
.We felt it was important to use similar camera
shots/angles used in the original video. We also did
our location shoot in an urban location.

4. Location Shoot
Throughout the
St.Wurburgh’s area there is
interesting and remarkable
graffiti/artwork. The graffiti
seen in the background of
the photo helps support the
urban feel to our video.

5. Lighting
Maverick Sabre has used a
black and white effect on
his album covers creating a
despondent feel and could
reflect the dark lyrics that
he refers to in his songs.
We have not edited our photos and we have not used this
effect. However as our music video idea is based upon an
abusive relationship, we could use this effect while editing
later scenes in our music video.

6. Location Shoot
• We also did a location shoot in Magpie bottom in Kingswood.
• We did a location shoot in an rural setting mainly for our narrative
scenes and some of the photos correspond to the ones used in
Maverick Sabre’s ‘I need’.

7. Location Shoot
• Majority of our narrative shoots will be taken
in Yvette's bedroom or in Magpie Bottom.
