In the preliminary task, the filmmakers used a limited range of shots, little camera movement, basic editing techniques and no attention to sound design. However, in the final production they incorporated a variety of shots including extreme close-ups, point-of-view shots and camera movements to better engage the audience emotionally. They also improved their editing, using transitions, and added sound effects and music to create more atmosphere. This allowed them to tell the narrative more effectively and create suspense for the thriller genre.
