2. The success of
the title
sequence as a
whole…
Strengths
The order of shots makes
sense.
The location fit to our
sequence.
Weaknesses
The order is not to the same as
we planned as we missed out a
lot of the shots.
Our title sequence does not
give the audience enough clues
as to what the film could be
about.
It is not very engaging for the
viewer.
We were supposed to have a
split screen so you can see the
contrast between the two
characters social background
better.
3. Quality of
camera work…
Strengths
We used a variety of shot
types.
Weaknesses
Very shaky camera work due
to incorrect resources.
The camera was also not
straight throughout most of
the sequence.
As we did use the zoom on
the camera, sometimes the
shots would get slightly
blurred and out of focus.
4. Variety of
shots used…
Strengths
We used a variety of shots
throughout.
The use of match cuts also
made the sequence more
visually interesting.
We used: over the shoulder;
mid-shot; wide-shot and
close-ups.
Weaknesses
We did not use all of that
shots that we included on the
story board.
The shots didn't fit
seamlessly enough.
5. Use of
lighting…
Strengths
The lighting is good and
consistent throughout as we
mainly used natural lighting.
Weaknesses
We could of use different
types of lighting to make our
sequence more visually
interesting.
7. Use of the
mise-en-scene
Strengths
The location we filmed in fit
our sequence.
The costume used matches
with the personality and look
of the character.
Our costumes were based on
the correct stereotypes.
Weaknesses
We could’ve used more props
to give a clue to what our film
is going to be about.
