What is a Systematic
Review?
What is a Systematic Review?
A systematic review is an attempt to collect,
combine, and critically appraise a large body
of literature to answer a focused question
using predefined selection criteria. Formal
and rigorous steps exist to minimize bias and
enhance the trustworthiness or validity of the
results. Methods used must be fully reported
in order to be transparent and reproducible.
