is rumoured to be working on her 8th.
 Rihanna’s image has changed
drastically over the course of being in
the public eye and is known for her
“interesting” life choices whether it be
her attire, her hobbies and habits or who
she is dating at the time.


5. Rihanna is a very interesting artist to
follow on social media, this is the main
reason why I have chosen to talk about
her.
 Her online presence (though she is a
huge pop star) is very personal. It is not
polished, it is not “set up” the posts that
you see from her seem to be genuine.

Throughout the various forms of
social media sites Rihanna uses one
can observe how she interacts with
her fans and vice-versa.
Rihanna has a very dedicated and
passionate following that spreads
across the globe.
By using these social media sites she
is able to connect more to her fans
and gives them an insight into her
life.

As someone who listens to music by Rihanna and
follows her through the media and social media sites I
can see a definite connection to her personal life
and her music.
Rihanna is a very fascinating celebrity to follow
because often times as a fan you can observe how
her current tweet or Instagram posts relates to her
relationships with those around her, and with that
being said, these themes usually appear within her
music
Rihanna makes her personal life a lot more
accessible then a lot of other musicians and
celebrities through social media, creating an more
intimate bond with her.

by the use of social media.
 It is not a surprise to those who “follow”
her that she enjoys smoking pot, getting
tattoos, and getting a little crazy with her
friends.
 Her close friends also have a fairly
dominant online presence, giving “the
navy” a different perspective on her life.


Since Rihanna’s music is so popular, it is not
uncommon to come across one of her songs
whether you are a fan or not.
Her interests and behaviour however shape her
audience outside of the music.
Rihanna has argued the title of “a role model”
and chooses to do as she pleases even though
she may have a younger audience interested
in her and her music.
This is another factor that makes Rihanna a
very interesting online persona because her
posts do not seem to have a filter; the are
“raw.”

has also grown into roles such as an actress
and fashion designer.
 Her “Look” is very sought after and she is
able to extend her creativity through her
appearance.
 She has released a line of clothing through
“River Island” and released a whole limited
addition line of make-up through MAC
cosmetics. All of which have sold out
completely.


14. Overall Rihanna is not just a musician,
she has created a brand for herself.
 She extends her creativity through many
outlets and allows for her fans to be
apart of her “reign.”
 Rhianna embodies what it means to be
a “pop super star…”
