Right Triangle
Trigonometry

Technology Integration
• Often times when thinking about
  technology integration within a classroom
one does not think about the benefits it
may hold for right triangle trigonometry.
• However, instead of having students draw
many different triangles to practice the
Pythagorean theorem it is much more
beneficial to use a program such as Cabri
  Geometry where student’s can
  manipulate the triangle using different
  angles and measurement.
• Not only that, but with technology
  graphing common trigonometric
  equations can become much easier.
Internet Content
• The internet offers a wide array of programs and
resources that can help students gain hands on
experience with the real world uses of right triangle
trigonometry. In addition to using education
programs there are countless numbers of blogs,
podcasts, and videos dedicated to this subject
• The next three slides are an examples of some of
  these resources.

Internet Resources
• The internet provide a wide array of reliable
  resources from government and private
organizations that show the relationship of right
triangle trigonometry and the real world.
• The next two slides are examples of a few reliable
organizations that present this right angle
trigonometry as it relates to their organization.

  • #11 1.) How would this diagram/GO be used in an actual lesson?I would present my class this graphic organizer as an introduction to trigonometric equations. Then, I would print out a copy for each of my students to put in their notes so they can have this graph as a simple reminder. 2.) How does this visual enhance student understanding of the topic? This graph is great because it clearly reveals the opposite, hypotenuse, and adjacent lines with an arrow and a blue line to represent it. Because of the color the students will clearly be able to identify which line is which and are less likely to get confused by their notes.
