This document discusses a project to record acoustic guitar using a low voltage microphone, piezo electric pickup, microcontroller, and analog to digital converter. The analog guitar signal will be captured by the microphone and pickup, converted to digital data by the analog to digital converter, and stored on an SD memory card. Key aspects that will be considered are identifying the best placement of the microphone and pickup to capture the guitar's unique harmonics, balancing recording quality with storage and read/write speeds, and programming the microcontroller to implement the analog to digital conversion and serial peripheral interface.
