 Monthly Salary: MYR 2000.00 From/To: Jan 2014 to Fed 2015
Responsibilities & Skill:
 To assist in the daily operations such as store opening and closing.
 To assist in the operation work, such as price override and refund, to ensure operation run
smoothly.
 To count cash, bank-in and change sufficient small notes and coin from bank.
 To perform as relief cashier when short of manpower and shall comply with the policies and
procedures of the Cashier Handbook and responsible for any negligence or non-compliance
as stated in the Cashier Handbook.
 To perform banking procedures.
 To attend customers ‘enquiries, complaints and order.
 To handle shoplifting cases tactfully.
 To conduct check staff belongings before leaving the store at night.
 To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of selling floor.
 To assist Retail Manager or Operation Manager to up-keep assets of department and office.
 To ensure all lighting in the store is functional.
 To carry out any other duties as assigned by Retail Manager or Operation Manager.
Department
 To achieve sales budget.
 To train subordinates on the skill and knowledge required for the job.
 To brief subordinates on the store’s rules and regulations, work processes and to ensure
staff compliance when processing stocks and documents.
 To supervise the subordinates and ensure the work performance is maintained.
 To undertake functions performed by subordinates as and when the need arises such as
housekeeping, labeling, receiving, display, etc…
 To monitor and replenish stock promptly (preferably cut PO on early month and return to
be done last week of the month) to ensure adequate merchandise display. Very importance
is follow on monthly OTB planned by Retail Manager or Operation Manager, in order to
maintain satisfactory stock level.
 To check regularly with supplier on market demand and also on new titles.
 To perform back office functions, including data entry, staff leave records, monitoring staff
punctuality / absenteeism, updating Staff Profile Cards, Answer UMS report, running open
document, follow-up, checking, prompt submission of documents. Proper documentation
and filling of record.
 To handle administrative function of the department as and when required, i.e. processing
of PO, GR, etc. , to ensure monthly document submission deadline is met.
 To close the open document promptly.
 To update immediate Superior of sales performance of the department and the sales
turnover of the different merchandise. Also, to prepare monthly sales report to Buyer or
Merchandiser update weekly purchasing record to Retail Manager or Operation Manager.
 To brief staff on promotion or any activity during morning briefing.
 To identify slow moving and damaged stock for return / exchange.
