Boom Logistics -General Hire 02/09 – 03/10 • Cranes involved include 18t, 20t, and 25t Franna’s • 50t and 55t Kato’s, • 220t,200t, 160t,130t, and 100t hydraulic Tadano and Grove models. • Tasks include lifting of dragline buckets dual and singular lifts. • Lifting various plant and items onto mine float ie; Graders, Dozer blades, power plants etc. • Dogbox work and various lifts involved in swapping out old for new parts • General lifts in town. Monadelphous - Rio Tinto 04/08 – 11/08 • Construction of several iron ore transfer stations. • Leading hand of a crew of 8 completing several transfer stations with very few punch-list items. • Dogging various cranes on site- 275t Liebherr, various franna’s, 75t Grove roughie etc. • Assisted in the dogging and pinning of a 75t slide pulley unit. • Also completed the largest transfer station on site with a crew of 8, ahead of schedule and being awarded for a high safety standard whilst still having less than 10 items on our punch list at pre handover assessment, with recommendation from site overseer’s Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM). Laing O’Rourke - Western Corridor 06/07 – 04/08 • Rigger on an advanced reverse osmosis water treatment plant in the southern hemisphere. • Construction and cosmetics on all the substations • Dogging for tower cranes, 100t and 110t Liebherr, 20 & 25t Franna. • Rigging pipe work in Main Process and Chemical transfer stations. • Various tasks for civil workers i.e. Redline- laying 700mm pipeline, 60 meters of, dogging excava- tor. Albem Operations – Brisbane Port 03/06 - 04/07 • Working as a rigger/dogger on the heavy lift crew and pile driving crew • Dogging a 100t concrete ecosol unit from the water whilst diving(to unscrew the rigging gear). • Assembling pile-driving frame, Driving over 400 pylons. • Installation of a series of concrete storm water units weighing between 20 – 100t. • General Labouring - included stripping formwork from underneath wharf onto loading barges. • Operation of forklift and site vehicles, some formwork, concrete pours, onsite fabrication, welding and oxy cutting.
