Why do we see innovations such as Patron-Driven-Acquisition become the norm for eBooks acquisitions, yet remain uncharted territory for eVideos?
This slide show explores the status of online video on campuses today – the growing and changing usage behavior of students and faculty, the opportunities for new acquisition models, and the Return on Investment for Libraries. The Final questionaires POLAND 2015
The document contains the results of questionnaires given to Polish teachers, students, and parents regarding their participation in an educational partnership program with other European countries. The questionnaires assessed growth in cultural awareness and knowledge of partner countries as well as environmental awareness and citizenship. The results showed that most teachers, students, and parents reported increased understanding of other cultures and countries, use of new teaching methods, interest in foreign language learning, and sense of European identity after participating in the program.

Conference presentation on videos lectures. The paper considers the use of recording lectures and describes a case study in which lectures were recorded for a module. The mean scores and rates of attendance were compared with the same module in previous years. it was found that for the main population the assessment scores did not change,. however the scores for students whose first language was not English did improve. This lesson plan introduces students to quadrilaterals and their properties. It aims to have students learn the terminology used with quadrilaterals and practice creating different quadrilaterals based on their characteristics. The lesson will introduce parallelograms, rectangles, rhombuses, squares, and trapezoids. It provides formulas for calculating the areas of each shape and example application problems using real world contexts. The 90 minute lesson will use slides, paper, and drawing tools for students to practice identifying and constructing the different quadrilaterals.
