Same proportion of text to images
There are a lot of different images all varying in size
Consistentbrand identity as the same colours are
used throughoutit all
Informallanguagehas been used throughout
 A few of the images have been taken from a festival
and the rest have been taken by the creator of the
magazine
There are two models in the magazine
 there are a few different fonts used though they look
similar
They are all differenttypes of sans serif
 The colours used is mainly red and black with a few words in
white
 The genre is evident by the artists on the front cover, also on the
double page spread its says “indie music”
 Location used would be outside for the double page spread and
inside with a plain background for the front cover
 A long distance shotis used for the double page, as well as a
medium shot for the frontcover and a close medium shot used for
the smaller image on the double page

 Sans serif s used with different types used
 The main colours used are a dark red and black with a bit of white
 The genre is evident as the word rock is repeated throughoutthe
frontcover and double page spread

3.  Location was againsta plain background apartfrom the main one
on the double page which was taken outside by the look of the
bricks
 On the frontcover a medium close up is used, on the contents
page a long distance shotis used and for the double page spread a
long distance shotis also used for both images
 Images to text is about the
same
 6 images across all 4 pages
 There is a consistent brand

 The images have been taken
in a studio with a background of
black as well as one of white
 The costumes worn are the
same
 The font is the samethroughoutapart from the masthead which is
different
 Sans serif is used as well as a drop cap

4.  Yellow is used a lot as well as white
 The genre is evident by the artistincluded in the magazineas well as the
layout
 Medium long shots are used for the images
 The image on the double page goes through the text
Reflection
After looking at whatother students have used it has influenced me to
make my text go around a bit of the image like it is shown below. I will
also havethe same colours used throughoutto keep the
identity of my magazine. I may usea studio to take the
majority of my photos.
