2. All of the font used is sans
serif giving the magazine a
modern feel. The blue in the writing
goes with the background
and the yellow font this
makes the front cover look
attractive.
The main sell line attracts
the target audience of
people who like the band
and that era of music.
The sell lines stand
out as the title of
them is a different
colour to the bit below
it.
The bit at the bottom shows
artists are inside the
magazine so that people can
see the kind of artists that the
magazine writes about.
The issue number
tell the customer
how many issues of
the magazine there
has been.

3. Sans serif is used
throughout the
entire magazine
to keep the
modern feel.
The table
of contents
is split up
into
categories
so the
reader
knows
what
article is
related to
what
category
and also so
that it is
easy to
find.
The pictures have
page numbers on
them so that the
reader can easily
find the article on
the band/artist
they want quickly
without having to
look at the table
of contents.
A subscribe
section shows
the reader where
to go to subscribe
to the magazine.
Also a bit
that shows
readers all
of their
social
media.

about 7cm wide

making it look
more interesting
then if it was all
just words.

5. Sana serif is used to give
the magazine a modern
look to attract people to
read the magazine.
The title of the sell lines are
bolder than the bit beneath to
get people to buy the
magazine as they may want to
read the article.
Headline stands out so that
people see who’s on the
front and has the main
article of that months
magazine.
The colours coordinate with the
colour of the name of the
magazine making the magazine
look attractive.

6. Page numbers so that
people can flick through
to find the article they
want to read.
Date and issue number so
people can see when the
articles were written and to
also see how many
magazines there have been.
A quotation is pulled
from an article along
with the who said on
what and where to find
the article.
Name of the artist is in bold
and bigger then the rest of the
sentence is because you can
quickly see who the artist or
group is and go to that page to
see the article.
A section just for the cover
story and a section for the
feature stories so that
people can quickly identify
which one is the cover
story.

the beginning of the

8. My work will be influenced by my findings as I will know to use fonts that are
modern as well as colours that compliment each other. I will also include wide
columns and make the pictures proportional to the writing or I may put the
pictures in the background of the writing. In my contents page I will have the
name in bold so that it stands out.
