charts. This is shown by the people they are featuring such as
Kendrick Lamar, Maroon 5 and the fact that they are reviewing the
top 20 songs at that time.
Symbolism:
The text within this magazine is very bold which reflects the artists on
the cover with them having very bold personalities and music. The
Magazine is very simplistic and clearly wants to focus on the image
of Kendrick Lamar as the main aspect of the cover as he is very
popular at the moment in pop culture. The colour scheme is very
simple and the title of the magazine being in bold red where as
everything else is very simplistic colours like black, white and grey.

3. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
This article on Kendrick is an interview with
him. It is fairly informal on the lines of them
just having a general conversation about
what his music means to him and what he
wants to do with it. It also goes over his
upcomming in the last few years and how
DAMN his new album has changed the
music game. The title font is used to catch
Kendrick fans eyes as it is the font he uses on
his latest album and all the rest of the fonts
are just pretty plain so all the attention is
more on the title hence why the title is red
while evreything else is black and white, like
the cover.

The website for this magazine carries on the
modern simplistic aesthetic they are using within
the magazine. They have the usual red title on a
simple background. They have more adds and
then options for certain articles about the recent
events that have been happening in the world
within the music industry.

5. DOGS LIFE MAGAZINE
This magazine is also simplistic but has a lot more information
on the front cover of what the articles contain inside the
magazine. It is focusing on one image yet again of the dog that
is obviously a main feature within the magazine.
Symbolism:
The text on this front cover is changed a fair bit depending on
the placement. The colour scheme is also well used. The orange
text is clearly what they want you to notice first to tell you what
the magazine is about such as “dogs”.

6. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
The contents of this magazine is very informal with the
language they use. The clear main aim of this magazine is
clearly to help all dog owners new or old to help tackle
everyday struggles they face in the warm weather with a
dog.The layout is nice, there is a good text to picture ratio,
not too much text but enough to give the reader enough
information the the subject.

7. WEBSITE
The website for this magazine is again very simplistic, It actually
has the same colours as the double page spread with the pinks,
blues and whites. Again they have a good variations of articles
you can choose to click on and it is a great website to draw in
other dog lovers. They have appropriate ads which link with the
idea of the magazine and it is clearly very well thought out and
presented.

8. CLASSIC CARS
This magazine is clear to its audience what it is about as the name really
says it all, classic cars. This front cover is very clear what it wants you to
notice first. The beautiful Jaguar XJ in the center of the page. The bold red
coloiurs on the page are clear what they want you notice aswell with the
cord cars and the car being red they are the most eyecatching part of the
cover which leads your eyes to everything else on the page. The other
colours on the page are white and yellow, the yellow is also very
eyecatching. The bolder colours of the text actually match the colours of
the most central cars, the red and the yellow which works very well to
bring the whole page together.

9. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
This magazine is very informal as most of these
magazines have been, they are very much more
pictures compared to text but that is to show the
readers what they are reading about as the article
is about a specific make of car. The layout
definitely draws the reader in more and the
pictures don’t just show the simple photo of just
the car it shows the engine aswell which will be eye
catching to their clear audience of classic car
lovers.

10. WEBSITE
This website is very simplistic and it very
obviously targeted towards their specific
audience as it shows options for things like cars
for sale and advertising classic car shows so not
only is this website giving information about
the magazine, it is also giving other helpful and
interesting information to their readers. The
colour scheme is similar to the front cover with
a lot of reds and whites.
