The document outlines plans for a photo shoot for a digipak and website. For both, hairstyles, makeup, costumes, and locations will be kept simple to maintain cohesion across materials and allow fans to replicate looks easily. 4. Digipak
For the digipak I will keep the hairstyle very simple so as not to draw
away from the album but also on more recent CD covers the tend to be
styling much simpler hairstyles and I will continue with this theme as it
seem to have worked well with other Cd covers but as well as her
previous Ep’s. I will keep the hairstyle simple so that it is easy for fans to
copy if they want to.

5. Website
For this I will continue with the theme for hairstyle as I will use photos
from the same shoot on the website. I will do this to show a clear
advertising campaign throughout the products linking them all together. I
think that keeping the hairstyle in the main picture website will draw
people to the website as they will recognise the image however I could
feature other simple hairstyles in smaller pictures.

I will also watch some of Zoella’s hair tutorials as she creates hairstyles that look as if
they are hard but in fact are simple and quick

7. Make Up

8. Digipak
For the digipak I will also keep the make up simple in order to
keep the whole look simple as I feel that this makes the whole
look of the digipak look in sync and not look over the top. A simple
make up look will also mean that it is quick and easy to do and
means that it could be recreated by fans who want to do the look.

9. Website
For the website the make up will be the same as I do not want the
make the website to over the top as instead of attacking people to
the website it might make people not want to use the website
because of how over the top it is. Also a simple make up style is
natural and not over the top looks natural and doesn’t look forced
and is something that the target audience can relate to the look or
look at it as a new style to try.

I will also watch some make up tutorials on youtube to help me get the
look I am looking for.

12. Digipak
For the digipak the costume will be the same as the main
costume of the video to show that they are linked . The costuming
will be still be something simple but also look like a lot of effort
has been put in such as a dress or a playsuit, something that fans
will want to buy something like, giving them something to aspire
to.

13. Website
On the website I will use different yet just as simple outfits on the
website to keep with the theme but also allow for different colour
combinations. The simple outfits will mean that fans and people
looking at the website will be able to look and recreate the outfit
simply.

 On the covers of Cd’s there are very little props used in them
this is so that attention is kept on the artist however when
props are used they are very simple and generic items such as
a microphone or a guitar, sometimes the props are even less
obvious such as a chair or sofa for the artist sit on. However in
more recent releases props are not used as much.

17. Website
 On the website there is a lack of props to keep the website as
simple and effective as it can be. The photos are kept simple
so not to draw the attention of the viewers attention away from
the rest of the content on the website.
 The lack of props in the pictures on the website is in keeping
with the lack of props on the album covers this is again
creating a clear and direct advertising campaign.

20. Digipak
 For the digipak I could either shoot in the studio leaving a plain
and simple background making the artist really stand out on the
background. The colours would be pastel as these colours seem
to be very popular at the moment.
 The location could also be very simple like a forest or
somewhere generic that everyone would know making it appeal
to everyone.

21. Website
 The pictures used on the website will also be in keeping with
the digipak so if I shoot on a pastel coloured background I
would then keep the background the same throughout the
website to show clear promotion between the product.
