RTM is a tool that helps maintain a project's scope, requirements, and deliverables by tracing each requirement from initiation through final implementation. It enhances scope management and assists with process control and quality management by documenting connections between initial requirements and the final product. An RTM should be created at the beginning of a project and contain unique, clearly defined requirements including an ID, use case ID, use requirement, and testing details to ease control and tracing.

remain “as is” when compared to the baseline.
