50 Cent Research Paper
In recent years, 50 Cent has experienced more success in outside ventures as opposed to what initially
propelled him into superstardom, the music. He has released several mixtapes such as The Big 10, The
Lost Tape, 5 (Murder By Numbers), and his full length LP, Animal Ambition . Unfortunately, none of
those projects generated enough buzz to place 50 Cent back at the forefront of Hip Hop culture, which
led many to question his ability to make quality music in today s landscape. With his latest release,
The Kanan Tape, 50 drew inspiration from his character on the hit television series, Power, and
harnessed that energy to create his most cohesive body of work in a very long time.
The seven track EP kicks off with the ferocious Nigga ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is refreshing to hear 50 in such a great creative space and it reflects in the music. 50 Cent is at his
best when he delivers vivid, unfilitered portrayals of the hood. There aren t many rappers that can
match 50 s brilliance in terms of depicting life in the streets of New York. The Post Malone assisted
Tryna Fuck Me Over has the two artists boasting about their material possessions, while
acknowledging their foes and the failed attempts to bring them misfortune. Although a good track, it
doesn t fit the overall mold of The Kanan Tape and would be better suited as a single or placed on a
different project.
I m The Man was originally a song written and produced by Sonny Digital back in 2014. It was then
reconstructed as 50 Cent replaced both of Sonny s verses with two of his own, while retaining him on
the chorus. There are only two songs from this project that could potentially cater to radio, Too Rich
For The Bitch and I m The Man, which is the better record of the two. The subject matter is
monotonous, but, 50 s trademark rapping/singing cadence is what makes this such a dope

Essay on Atomic Structure, Moles and Periodicity
Atomic structure, Moles and Periodicity
The Periodic Table is guidance or map to access different elements specific information, such as:
atomic mass, isotopic richness, nuclear spins, electronic configuration and the position of elements
belong to which group and period in table. Over the past decades there were many Scientifics which
help to improvement of Periodic table but few of them made the most influence and contribution on
Periodic table such as : Johann Dobereiner ,John Newlands , Dmitri Mendeleev and Henry Moseley.
Law of Triads
The development of Periodic table begins with the German chemist Johann Dobreeiner. He collected
similar elements together. His triads were groups of three similar elements for example: Calcium, ...

He continued his way and put forward the elements in order of increasing atomic mass and wherever
he found a interval, simply assumed that this elements had not discovered yet. His way helped him to
work out the atomic mass of undiscovered elements and predict their properties which the later on the
new elements discovered it could go to the right place in his table. He put the elements in order of
relative atomic mass and this gave a problem. For example: Iodine with lower atomic mass was after
Tellurium in table and that breaking his rules.
Modern Periodic table
Henry Moseley came and put the elements in order of increasing atomic number. Actually Mendeelv
was right to put Iodine after Tellurium but he did not know why is like this, but in Henry Moseley way
iodine has higher atomic number than tellurium so iodine must be after tellurium in table.
In the modern periodic table vertical column called Group. There are 8 groups in periodic table which
some of groups have names as well for example group seven named as Halogens or group eight (0)
named as Noble gases. Groups often show an increase or decrease in similar properties. Elements in
each group contain of same electron configuration in the outermost shell. A horizontal row called
period, and they numbered from top to downwards 1 7. The periods consist of elements with the same

The Hostility Between Gene and Finny in A Separate Peace...
The Hostility Between Gene and Finny in A Separate Peace by John Knowles
Gene feels increasing hostility toward Finny before his fall from the tree. In the novel A SEPARATE
PEACE by John Knowles, the hostility between Gene and Finny increase because of the competition
inside of them both to be better then one another. It is about the increasing competition between Gene
and Finny and the hostility it brings. The hostility finally burst inside Gene and for one instant it takes
over. It makes him do something he will always regret. Gene s increasing hostility towards Finny
finally brings the down fall of their friendship.
Gene s first form of hostility toward Finny was the realization that
Finny could get away with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Gene s envy increases to resentment of Finny making him do things he does not want to do. The first
resentment is when Finny manipulates
Gene into jumping out of the tree and into the water. The only reason he resents this is that it was Fine
s fault he was up in the tree. I (Gene) wouldn t have been on that darn limb except for him. I wouldn t
have turned around and so I lost my balance, if he hadn t been there. (25)
Gene blames Finny for him almost falling even though it wasn t really
Finny s fault. Gene is so envious of Finny that he does not want Finny to be one step better then him
for saving his life. He twists the truth to make it seem like it was Finny s fault for him almost falling.
Gene also resents the fact that Finny made up Blitzball around his physical abilities. Finny adapted the
game to his own physical abilities so he could excel at it. It made a game of strength, endurance, and
speed just what Finny s abilities were. Right from the start it was clear that no one had ever been
better adapted to sports than Finny was to Blitzball. (31) Gene is envious of
Finny making up a game that he was going to be naturally good at so, in
Gene s mind, he can be better then him and make him look bad. His last resentment is of Finny tring
to impress him with his athletic abilities. How he does this is when they first find

Mark Twain Rhetorical Analysis
Mark Twain was described to be anything and almost everything except for politically correct. People
say that Twain wrote to be controversial, his literary pieces left you enraged, confused, or combative.
Nevertheless, his views and perspectives were still respected. Twain grew up in the rural back wood
area of Missouri, known as a slave state at this time. His father was a widely respected judge, and his
uncle, John Quarles, was a slave master. Quarles owned over 20 slaves, providing Twain with a
personal experience to the practice and institution of slavery. This provided Twain the opportunity to
build a self defined definition and perspective on the institution of slavery. This explains why the
discussion of the assumingly racist perspective ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One argument made by people who fully support Mark Twain s novel, Huckleberry Finn, say that a
man who pay for a black man s education and feels that slavery should have never been okay, could
not possibly have written a racially offensive novel. (Marx)
Throughout my research I discovered Twain s joy behind the challenging of the ideas of racism within
his writing. He wanted to be known for his perspective and controversial issues. For example, in his
book Pudd nhead Wilson, Twain is left with the question on whether or not white or black people were
different from each other, rather than by skin color. Again in the year 1957 when the National
Association for The Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) confronted Twain on the
offensiveness of his novel. Public school systems and parents felt it should not be used in a integrated
school systems.
What you find in Twain is the backwards: an eager warmth and reverence for dull Americans that
began when he was still a child and turned out to be reliably as the years advanced. In a by and large
idolized post Civil War sketch titled A True Story, for occasion, he wrenchingly evoked the torment of
an ex slave as she was secluded from her young tyke on the deal piece, and her elation at discovering
him in a dull regiment at war s

Family And Family Analysis
The institution of a family can be viewed as the backbone of society by having a major role in the
functioning of society. It is considered to have many essential functions like reproduction, socializing
children, providing care and support, regulating sexual relationships, etc. Creating an infant is the
beginning of how a family is significant in the functioning of society. The family then provides safety
and economic stability for the child. The social norms, behaviors, and culture are then taught and
learned by the child through exposure from peers and the environment. As the child continues to grow,
the family is constantly giving the child love and support while the child learns his or her self identity.
The cycle of socialization, passing along culture, and providing guidance of self purpose then
continues from generation to generation. Families were essentially the main economic unit of society,
however, that was before industrialization. Depending on the society and culture, the roles within the
family can vary based on gender, class, and race. After industrialization, it was believed that men were
the ones that should earn the money away from the household while the women took care of their
children and house. Margaret L. Andersen and Taylor F. Howard explains, Many men are now more
engaged in housework and child care than was trust in the past, although women still provide the vast
majority of this labor (Andersen Howard, 2014, p.279). However, women that were

Recycling Is A Waste Of Money And Time
Abstract
In the not too distant future, recycling will no longer be speculated and studied. It will simply be a fact
of everyday life. In the last 20 years, recycling rates in the United States have risen from 13 percent to
almost 24 percent. More than ever before, recycled waste is being kept out of our county dumps and
incinerators and is being put to many different uses, creating new jobs and companies. Those who don
t agree that recycling has any benefit say that recycling costs more than dumping, falsely claiming that
recycling is a complete waste of money and time. However, recycling today is often less expensive
than dumping or burning, and is quickly becoming the preferred alternative. In this essay, I want to
show how recycling isn t just a business or environmental issue, it is something much larger that we
must embrace and make a priority in our every day living. As stewards of this planet, we are obligated
to make everyone cognizant of how important recycling is to our existence, and pass what we have
learned on to future generations. If we can only begin to think differently about how we handle our
every day waste, we can help ensure a clean environment well into the future.
What is recycling? Recycling is returning materials to their raw material components and using them
again to supplement or replace new materials in the manufacture of new products. Recycling involves
several steps; separating recyclable materials from waste, collecting

Analysis of Andre; S Mother by Terrence Mcnally Essay
Analysis of Andre s Mother by Terrence McNally
The play, Andre s Mother, by Terrence McNally is a story about accepting death and is based in a
story about a young man who died before telling his mother that he was gay; leaving the man s partner
to break the news and to inform the mother about how much he missed seeing her and his fear of
being rejected by her, in the time before his death. The theme of this story is to live life everyday with
no regrets. Throughout the symbols and references you begin to understand the life of Andre. The
white balloon represents letting go and leaving a young man in peace. The silence of his mother shows
that she never accepted his sexual preference. While Hamlet references the struggles of his everyday

At the end of the play Andre s mom with her own conflicts releases the balloon. The play write quotes,
He goes, Andre s mother stands alone holding her white balloon. Her lips tremble. She looks on the
verge of breaking down. She looks at it awhile before she gently kisses it and lets go of the balloon... I
believe at that point that Andre s mother forgave her son and was willing to wipe the slate clean by
releasing the white balloon and letting Andre s soul rest in peace. Andre s mother s silence throughout
the play shows that she never accepted her son s sexuality. Even though she wasn t accepting she let
her son rest in peace and let his soul ascend to heaven.
Andre s love of theater and the play Hamlet gave us an insight to his life. At the beginning of the play
Cal expresses Andre s love of theatre. Cal expresses, God, how much he wanted to play Hamlet again.
He would have gone to Timbuktu to have another go at that part. The summer he did in Boston, he
was so happy! (McNally 736). This reference to Hamlet, I believe showcases the struggles Andre went
through. Andre struggled with decision making and avoiding things, as did Hamlet. Hamlet struggled
whether to avenge his father and struggled with the decision that he had been avoiding. This is also
apparent when Cal brings up Andre s great performance saying, You should have come up the summer
he plated Hamlet. He was magnificent (McNally 738). I believe the Hamlet

Model the habits of a life long learner Just as teachers are expected to participate in professional

authentic administrators need to model the same behavior. This is especially true in modeling the

relationships founded on trust and remaining transparent throughout the organizational and structure

Utilize different collaboration strategies
Collaboration as the means for change is imperative in transformational leadership. According to
Abdolhamid Arbabi and Vali Mehdinezhad (2015) in their research article, The Relationship Between
the School Principals Collaborative Leadership Style and Teachers Self Efficacy, principals and school
leaders who practice collaborative decision making have faculty that have a higher self efficacy, or
belief in one s ability to succeed at their jobs. (p.3) Arbabi and Mehdinezhad (2015) also found that
when teachers have a strong self efficacy, they tend to expand their teaching and try new and less
traditional forms of instruction based on the needs of their students (p.5).
Build a culture of collaboration in schools Successful collaboration in schools does not necessarily
come inherently with a transformational leader alone. There are very specific strategies a leader can
take to instill regular collaboration centered around important needs of the school. Paul Sutton and

Greeting To An American Essay
There are certain customs based on the specific country a person should follow when entering a
country that is not familiar with them. This means that if a person is about to operate or visit a country,
they should study their specific customs so there isn t any miscommunication. For example, when
greeting someone, man to man, a handshake with the right hand is a common form and will possibly
linger a bit during the conversation. To women to women, a verbal greeting or even a handshake is
also common. Between a man and woman, verbal greetings are also welcome, along with a handshake
in a more formal or business situation. In Senegal, greetings are very important and questions about

Improving Reaction Time
Reaction time is how much time it takes to react or respond to a stimulant. It is taken by the elapsed
time between the beginning of the application of the stimulant and the beginning of an organism s
reaction it. Atoms carry the charge of electricity and when the nerve impulse starts, it flows through
the channels in the membrane. This changes the charge to positive from the resting stage to its
negative charge. It then carries a nerve impulse through the cell axon into the synapse, causing
neurotransmitters to be released into the synaptic cleft. Reaction time is genetically passed down,
which demonstrates how improving reaction time could be difficult since it can only be improved by
10 20 percent with exercise or practice. One way to help increase reaction time would be having
caffeine in your body because it stimulates adrenaline to be produced and increase improvement of
percentage. Neurons are particular cells that transmit signals to the brain and are an important building
block of the central nervous system. Neurons have action potential which is caused by ion channels
that shut when the membrane potential close the resting potential. It then begins depolarization, which
allows sodium ions to produce more membrane potential, allowing more channels to open. ... Show

Exercise allows certain neurotransmitters to be released in the brain to relieve mental and physical
pain. It does this by exerting its effects to the brain through several mechanisms. Any time of aerobic
exercise boosts neural connections by increasing the amount of dendrite connections between each
neuron. Exercise has an effect on reaction time because of the increased circulation in the brain, which
allows the body to process information quicker which leads to a faster reaction time. Another way
exercise increases reaction time is when the muscles are able to react to stimuli with more accuracy
when the muscle has more

Enlightment for Fredrick the Great of Prussia and Joseph...
Frederick the Great of Prussia and Joseph II of Austria adopted the newfound ideas of the
Enlightenment to different extents with Frederick the Great advancing the ideas by implementing
religious toleration, freedom of speech and press, and setting a single code of laws for all of his
subjects and not advancing them by not abolishing serfdom for fear of upsetting the Junkers , or
Prussian nobility; Joseph II advanced the ideas of the Enlightenment eagerly by completely abolishing
serfdom paying no heed to what it could cause socially and politically and he didn t advance these
ideas in the end because his many reforms caused alienation of the church and nobility and radical

this would greatly anger the Junkers, the backbone of the Prussian state and military. It was said that
Prussia was not a country with an army: it was an army with a country. In Frederick s military, he did

dismantle their total arsenals within a period of time. Another important remark is how the author
mentions that Mongolia was one of the first to sign and ratify the NPT and the seventh country to
ratify the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT). The main reason why Mongolia is supporting the
disarmament is mostly due to the tension that exists between China and Russia, two neighboring
countries with nuclear weapons. By freeing its soil from nuclear armament, no countries should
deploy nuclear weapons in its territories. By officially declaring Mongolia NWFZ, Mongolia has a
better chance to transform its territory on a front war if Russia and China had to go war. III.

A Study on California s Smoking Ban
California s Smoking Ban
(APA Citation)
It was in 1964 that the Surgeon General of the United States first published a report on the ill effects
of smoking cigarettes, and within a year the first law requiring health warnings on cigarette packages
was in effect. From that point, the government has slowly, but continually, imposed more and more
restrictions on the use of tobacco products. Throughout the 1960s, 70 s, 80 s, and 90 s, the both
individual jurisdictions within the State of California, as well as the entire state, continued to impose
tougher and tougher restrictions on smoking cigarettes until 1994, when California became the first
state in the union to pass a law which completely prohibited smoking in most enclosed workplaces. (
Secondhand Smoke Exposure ) This law, which took effect in 1998, restricted smoking in all enclosed
places of employment including offices, factories, bars and restaurants. But by the early 21st century,
the current restrictions were not enough for California s lawmakers and a push was started to ban
smoking in all public places. Since the passage of these restrictions in the 1990 s, there has been a
great deal of change in the state with advocates of the smoking ban pointing to the increased health
benefits for the citizens of the state, while opponents focus on the economic damaged in the business
community caused by the restrictions. It is therefore necessary to examine the State of California and
its ban on smoking and how it has

A. Systems of Backyard Poultry Production
The raising of poultry mainly fulfills the purposes of meat, eggs and feather production, and sometimes
for religious ceremonies (Scanes et al., 2004). Poultry are efficient converters of feed to food. Food of
poultry origin serves the highest nutritional values, with egg being not only delicious but extremely
nutritious and balance of all nutrients (Scanes et al., 2004).
Poultry plays very important role for mankind through food supply, income and employment
generation, providing raw materials to some industries, facilitating research works etc. Family poultry
makes up to 80 percent of poultry stocks in low income food deficit countries (Pym et al., 2006)
where owners raise poultry in small numbers ranging from single birds up to a few hundred.
Backyard poultry rearing also finds an important role to raise indigenous birds free of stress and
harmful residues (Khandekar 2003, Mandal et al. 2006). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

part of their livelihood (Branckaert and Guèye, 1999; Ahuja et al., 2008; SA PPLPP, 2009). Poultry

Analysis Of Mayor Muriel Bowser s Leadership Style

Washington DC.
Therefore, her leadership style is unique, due to the early influences in her love of living in

Many of the qualities of compassion and understanding of the needs of citizens are derived from the

This program will also improve the city in long term goals by having individuals who are highly
qualified and completes their jobs more effectively. This enhancement in the education and training of
employees can be documented by the human resources department and also quarterly reviews of

corruption amongst governmental official. An incident in which recently took place with Mayor
Bowser includes her new plans to shut down a previous homeless shelter at DC General within a
certain timeline. Individuals would then transfer to new housing in which Mayor Bowser found
private property in which the city would pay for this transitional housing from its budget. Council
members became suspicious when Mayor Bowser would not discuss how the property and zoning
permits were acquired, but the private owners of the property were known as large contributors to her
campaign. These types of practices cause suspicion and speculation of leaders, especially in a city
which deems such a corrupt history from Mayor Barry and Mayor Fenty. According to Arzumanyan,
leadership requires publicity and openness of the leader and his or her team (Arzumanyan, 2016).

Traffic growth is expected to slow down from 5.9% in 2007 to roughly 3.9% for 2008 and increased

As a sign of the times, IATA revealed that 24 airlines had stopped operating or gone bankrupt in the

Social Environment
The rising cost of Airline travel and the (ever present) fear of terrorism have caused many travellers to
avoid business travel whenever possible. On the other hand, a growth in traffic has been prompted by
migrant workers, especially from countries recently admitted to the European Union, taking advantage
of increased capacity offered by low cost carriers.
Surprisingly, the holiday market has experienced little of the negative scenarios; with charter
operations and package holidays experiencing business as usual during seasonal peaks. This could be
explained by the fact that capacity in the holiday sector was never quite able to match the demand for
budget holidays.

As for my personal encounter of individual with a disability; the grew up around a cousin who was

Price Strategy And Estimate Of Price Elasticity
Price Strategy and Estimate of Price Elasticity Now looking at the three marketplaces that we have
chosen to explore for our product, we conclude that in terms of consumer behavior, buying habits,
values and concerns, these three marketplaces are totally different from each other. It is very evident
that each region requires a separate pricing strategy and so that is what we are going to follow in this
global plan of our company. Another factor that we need to keep in mind is the cultural and economic
realities of these marketplaces and consumers while pricing our products. Let us begin with the
pricing for the European Union market Spain. This is a rich market which is centered around good
quality and ready to spend the money asked for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Similarly, if the price is low the demand shoots up dramatically. We as a confectionary company needs
to take advantage of this consumer behavior and economic reality in China and among the people of
China. Keeping these realities in mind, it is very much obvious that for this market, we choose and
follow a value based pricing and do not keep the price of the product too high. It is advisable rather to
follow an average pricing and let the consumers build some enthusiasm around the product. Once the
consumers like the product and realizes it is good quality, then they accept the product and the low
pricing help the product create some buzz in the market and have some good techniques. Similarly, for
Latin America it has been interesting to find out that the people in this region are focused on value yet
they do not mind paying the appropriate price for a product if they know it is good. The price
elasticity of demand of people in this region is just moderate which is good for our product. Thus, we
will follow a moderate pricing strategy in this respect to ensure the best possible results from the
consumer in this market to ensure that product gets successful in this new market.
Part D: Manufacturing/Operation/Supply Chain We are all aware about the importance of supply,
manufacturing and operations chain for any business. It becomes even more important if we are

The Challenges Of The Mughal Empire
The Mughal Empire was one of the great dynastic powers of the medieval Islamic world and its nature
has always been of captivating interest to historians of India and Europe alike. Ruling as large a
territory as the Indian subcontinent with such a diversity of people and cultures was an extremely
difficult task for any ruler to accomplish in the Middle Ages. Quite in contrast to their predecessors,
the Mughals created an empire and accomplished what had hitherto seemed possible for only short
periods of time. From the latter half of the sixteenth century they expanded their kingdom from Agra
and Delhi, until in the seventeenth century they controlled nearly all of the subcontinent. They

Review on How the Amygdala s Emotional Function can Affect Sufferers of Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a relevant common mental disorder as it may affect
approximately 2 3% of the population at any point (Green, 2003). There are numerous literatures on
how a capacious amount of traumatic stress can affect the function of the brain, as the remembrance of
a traumatic experience can affect attention and memory in the present which may lead to present day
harm (Van der Kolk, 2006). Approximately thirty percent of individuals can develop PTSD following
a traumatic event, however, certain events have higher rates (such as rape) (Acierno et al., 1999, cited
in Elzinger and Bremner, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Johnson et al (2012) claims that the pathology of PTSD, is the natural response of threat reaction is
heightened and fails to decrease and thus becomes an issue to an individual s psychological and
physical well being. This follows on from Van der Kolk (2006) who stated that regions in the brain
that accesses the memory of an event also supports intense emotion which affects sensory and motor
functions within the Central Nervous System (CNS). This literature suggests that although PTSD is
classed as anxiety, it is the memory involvement in which causes the physical stress reaction.
Praag (2004) theorised that a sufferer of PTSD cannot easily erase memories of a certain stressful
trauma. This follows on from Liberzon et al s (1999) study that the repetitious memory recall of a
traumatic episode is a symptom of PTSD. This dysfunction of Memory involves certain brain regions,
including the amygdaloidal complex and hippocampal formation. In Liberzon et al s study on 11
control subjects and 14 combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD, placing them in stressful situations
using a single photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) machine found activation in the
left amygdala on the PTSD sufferers but not with the control subjects. This suggests that the amygdala
responds to unpleasant stimuli in individuals suffering with memories of a past traumatic episode.
Other brain imaging studies have found a link between encoding

When humans experience excessive stress, whether from internal worry or an external circumstance,
stimulus occurs and triggers a reaction called the fight or flight response. This response is built into
our brains and is designed to protect us from bodily harm, preparing our body for running or fighting.
Throughout Lord of the Flies by William Golding, The Destructors by Graham Greene, and the article

How Television Has Changed Politics
Ever since the invention of television, image and reputation became the real weapons of politics.
Television has influenced everything since its invention in 1940 (Campbell). From product and movie
ads, to news bulletins and important congressional hearings, television has changed the way how
viewers look at the world; especially the way we vote. The very first televised debate was held on
September 26, 1960 between Tricky Dick and JFK (Menand). The television allowed most of America
to view the inner workings of deciding who would run the country next, instead of reading what
happened in the last debate in Sunday s paper or hearing it on the radio. Though some listened to
Nixon and Kennedy go back and forth on the issues on that Monday night, ... Show more content on

Voters now felt that the candidates were more accessible and almost personally knew the contenders
as friends rather than barely known voices on the radio. Politicians were now transformed from well
dressed old men to rock stars and movie stars that spread their ideas and candidacy propaganda.
Informality with television brought more unique and newer strategies to the living rooms of America;
for instance, when Bill Clinton talked about his underwear on national TV in April 20, 1992 (Hart and
Triece). Clinton s opponents like George H.W. Bush and Ross Perot this as a major blunder for his
candidacy while younger voters interpreted this instance that Clinton was much more easygoing,
relaxed, and unconstrained. Clinton ushered in a new tactic of visual politics which was if one was
seen as more unconventional and laid back that this made the candidate more trustworthy and
approachable. Although the television has revolutionized the way Americans got news and received
political updates, the invention of the internet, mobile phone and social media platforms remolded the
blueprint that television created. The continuing growth of consumer technology will forever take
modern America on a roller coaster of information of who can get the news the fastest and how
accurate the pieces are. However, with constant political updates in the pocket of every American, it
seems that Washington is along for the

the garden in the nursery rhyme is a reference to graveyards which were increasing in size, with those
who dared to continue to follow the Protestant faith. The silver bells and cockleshells were said to be
used as torture devices and the pretty maids mentioned in the nursery rhyme were in rows for

Effects Of Technology In Technology
Advancements in Technology Affects Social Skills As the world of technology continues to advance,
the ways in which humans communicate also continues to change dramatically. At one point in life all
means of communication was face to face whereas now we are offered an abundance of different
social media and technology concepts that have taken away from face to face communicating.
Although we can look at the spread of social media to be a positive aspect in which it has helped
people communicate in different ways, face to face social skills are still necessary for social growth
and development. As use of technology becomes more common amongst children at a young age, it
negatively affects communication because it promotes impersonal behavior.
As society continues to change and adapt to modern day technology, social media becomes more
widely used and accepted amongst people of various ages. Children are being born into a generation
of Millennials where technology has become something most people tend to depend on to get through
their daily lives. Elaina Zachos, an intern for public source states, The U.S. Census Bureau says there

geyser in Haukadalur. It didn t take that long to get there, it was actually very beautiful on the way. It
was all open land and mountains. The Geyser was incredible. It was a huge piece of brown land, like
mud, with a giant hole in the middle. The hole was filled with water that boiled for about 10 minutes
and then erupted through the ground at nearly 40 m high. After we stood there watching it erupt
probably 3 times, we decided to go to our next stop: Þingvelli National park. It was one of the most
breathtaking places I d ever seen. There were huge black rock formations with slightly green grass
covering certain areas. Small streams ran through the whole thing. We hiked through a lot of it before
we went to the Gullfoss Waterfall. It wasn t like any other waterfall. It was a waterfall on top of
another waterfall. It stretched out far and you could see the glistening of a rainbow form on top of it.
We walked along the trail beside it getting splashed with water. I just couldn t believe my eyes. It was
like nothing I ve ever seen before. I wanted to stay there forever and just stare at this magnificent

Growing Professional Goals
The Student Teacher as a Growing Professional (Goals 1 5) Areas of Strength (with evidence):
One of my strengths is that I have a strong sense of a clear commitment to uphold the principles that
should govern a democratic and pluralistic community (Goal 3). In the classes I teach I have been
working on creating a classroom environment that is both safe and a positive learning environment. I
created a class constitution during my first week of full immersion, and have been working with
students to ensure that the expectations are being followed. For example, when students use
disrespectful language in the classroom, I remind them about the class constitution. Furthermore,
Juliet said that I have created a safe community where students feel ... Show more content on

After every lesson I take time to assess what I should change for the next time I do a lesson. Often
during post conference conversations with Reiko I am able to identify places for improvement on my
own. Juliet also said that I am increasingly proactive, and initiating in regards of being reflective.
Also, I would say that compared to short practicum, I am much more open and responsive to feedback
and constructive criticism (Goal 4); I ask questions to clarify the feedback I receive so that I am able
to apply this feedback, and make changes to my future lessons. Furthermore, I have been adjusting my
lessons to better fit the needs of the students I teach; my curriculum is continually and consciously
reshaped through my experiences with a variety of learners in a range of socio cultural contexts (Goal
1). Where in the past, I have been worried about timing, I have been working on slowing down, and
making sure that students understand the content of the lesson. For example, the TPCASTT analysis
of poems ended up taking almost two more extra blocks then I had thought it would take. However, I
also think that slowing down the lessons has helped more students understand the analysis process
better. Additionally, I feel like I am gaining a stronger sense of what is best for particular students in
particular situations (Goal 5). When I see a student struggling, I am able to break down the assignment
or re explain the task in a different way so that the student understands it better. I have one student in
my class who needs some direction before she is able to understand the assignment. I often help her
with her pre write, and guide her as much as I can, so that she feels comfortable completing the rest of
the assignment. Overall, I have grown in my

  • 2. 50 Cent Research Paper In recent years, 50 Cent has experienced more success in outside ventures as opposed to what initially propelled him into superstardom, the music. He has released several mixtapes such as The Big 10, The Lost Tape, 5 (Murder By Numbers), and his full length LP, Animal Ambition . Unfortunately, none of those projects generated enough buzz to place 50 Cent back at the forefront of Hip Hop culture, which led many to question his ability to make quality music in today s landscape. With his latest release, The Kanan Tape, 50 drew inspiration from his character on the hit television series, Power, and harnessed that energy to create his most cohesive body of work in a very long time. The seven track EP kicks off with the ferocious Nigga ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is refreshing to hear 50 in such a great creative space and it reflects in the music. 50 Cent is at his best when he delivers vivid, unfilitered portrayals of the hood. There aren t many rappers that can match 50 s brilliance in terms of depicting life in the streets of New York. The Post Malone assisted Tryna Fuck Me Over has the two artists boasting about their material possessions, while acknowledging their foes and the failed attempts to bring them misfortune. Although a good track, it doesn t fit the overall mold of The Kanan Tape and would be better suited as a single or placed on a different project. I m The Man was originally a song written and produced by Sonny Digital back in 2014. It was then reconstructed as 50 Cent replaced both of Sonny s verses with two of his own, while retaining him on the chorus. There are only two songs from this project that could potentially cater to radio, Too Rich For The Bitch and I m The Man, which is the better record of the two. The subject matter is monotonous, but, 50 s trademark rapping/singing cadence is what makes this such a dope ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Essay on Atomic Structure, Moles and Periodicity Atomic structure, Moles and Periodicity The Periodic Table is guidance or map to access different elements specific information, such as: atomic mass, isotopic richness, nuclear spins, electronic configuration and the position of elements belong to which group and period in table. Over the past decades there were many Scientifics which help to improvement of Periodic table but few of them made the most influence and contribution on Periodic table such as : Johann Dobereiner ,John Newlands , Dmitri Mendeleev and Henry Moseley. Law of Triads The development of Periodic table begins with the German chemist Johann Dobreeiner. He collected similar elements together. His triads were groups of three similar elements for example: Calcium, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He continued his way and put forward the elements in order of increasing atomic mass and wherever he found a interval, simply assumed that this elements had not discovered yet. His way helped him to work out the atomic mass of undiscovered elements and predict their properties which the later on the new elements discovered it could go to the right place in his table. He put the elements in order of relative atomic mass and this gave a problem. For example: Iodine with lower atomic mass was after Tellurium in table and that breaking his rules. Modern Periodic table Henry Moseley came and put the elements in order of increasing atomic number. Actually Mendeelv was right to put Iodine after Tellurium but he did not know why is like this, but in Henry Moseley way iodine has higher atomic number than tellurium so iodine must be after tellurium in table. In the modern periodic table vertical column called Group. There are 8 groups in periodic table which some of groups have names as well for example group seven named as Halogens or group eight (0) named as Noble gases. Groups often show an increase or decrease in similar properties. Elements in each group contain of same electron configuration in the outermost shell. The Hostility Between Gene and Finny in A Separate Peace by John Knowles Gene feels increasing hostility toward Finny before his fall from the tree. In the novel A SEPARATE PEACE by John Knowles, the hostility between Gene and Finny increase because of the competition inside of them both to be better then one another. It is about the increasing competition between Gene and Finny and the hostility it brings. The hostility finally burst inside Gene and for one instant it takes over. It makes him do something he will always regret. Gene s increasing hostility towards Finny finally brings the down fall of their friendship. Gene s first form of hostility toward Finny was the realization that Finny could get away with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Gene s envy increases to resentment of Finny making him do things he does not want to do. The first resentment is when Finny manipulates Gene into jumping out of the tree and into the water. The only reason he resents this is that it was Fine s fault he was up in the tree. I (Gene) wouldn t have been on that darn limb except for him. I wouldn t have turned around and so I lost my balance, if he hadn t been there. (25) Gene blames Finny for him almost falling even though it wasn t really Finny s fault. Gene is so envious of Finny that he does not want Finny to be one step better then him for saving his life. He twists the truth to make it seem like it was Finny s fault for him almost falling. Gene also resents the fact that Finny made up Blitzball around his physical abilities. Finny adapted the game to his own physical abilities so he could excel at it. It made a game of strength, endurance, and speed just what Finny s abilities were. Right from the start it was clear that no one had ever been better adapted to sports than Finny was to Blitzball. (31) Gene is envious of Finny making up a game that he was going to be naturally good at so, in Gene s mind, he can be better then him and make him look bad. His last resentment is of Finny tring to impress him with his athletic abilities. How he does this is when they first find ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Mark Twain Rhetorical Analysis Mark Twain was described to be anything and almost everything except for politically correct. People say that Twain wrote to be controversial, his literary pieces left you enraged, confused, or combative. Nevertheless, his views and perspectives were still respected. Twain grew up in the rural back wood area of Missouri, known as a slave state at this time. His father was a widely respected judge, and his uncle, John Quarles, was a slave master. Quarles owned over 20 slaves, providing Twain with a personal experience to the practice and institution of slavery. This provided Twain the opportunity to build a self defined definition and perspective on the institution of slavery. This explains why the discussion of the assumingly racist perspective ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One argument made by people who fully support Mark Twain s novel, Huckleberry Finn, say that a man who pay for a black man s education and feels that slavery should have never been okay, could not possibly have written a racially offensive novel. (Marx) Throughout my research I discovered Twain s joy behind the challenging of the ideas of racism within his writing. He wanted to be known for his perspective and controversial issues. For example, in his book Pudd nhead Wilson, Twain is left with the question on whether or not white or black people were different from each other, rather than by skin color. Again in the year 1957 when the National Association for The Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) confronted Twain on the offensiveness of his novel. Public school systems and parents felt it should not be used in a integrated school systems. What you find in Twain is the backwards: an eager warmth and reverence for dull Americans that began when he was still a child and turned out to be reliably as the years advanced. In a by and large idolized post Civil War sketch titled A True Story, for occasion, he wrenchingly evoked the torment of an ex slave as she was secluded from her young tyke on the deal piece, and her elation at discovering him in a dull regiment at war s ... • 8. Family And Family Analysis The institution of a family can be viewed as the backbone of society by having a major role in the functioning of society. It is considered to have many essential functions like reproduction, socializing children, providing care and support, regulating sexual relationships, etc. Creating an infant is the beginning of how a family is significant in the functioning of society. The family then provides safety and economic stability for the child. The social norms, behaviors, and culture are then taught and learned by the child through exposure from peers and the environment. As the child continues to grow, the family is constantly giving the child love and support while the child learns his or her self identity. The cycle of socialization, passing along culture, and providing guidance of self purpose then continues from generation to generation. Families were essentially the main economic unit of society, however, that was before industrialization. Depending on the society and culture, the roles within the family can vary based on gender, class, and race. After industrialization, it was believed that men were the ones that should earn the money away from the household while the women took care of their children and house. Margaret L. Andersen and Taylor F. Howard explains, Many men are now more engaged in housework and child care than was trust in the past, although women still provide the vast majority of this labor (Andersen Howard, 2014, p.279). • 9. Recycling Is A Waste Of Money And Time Abstract In the not too distant future, recycling will no longer be speculated and studied. It will simply be a fact of everyday life. In the last 20 years, recycling rates in the United States have risen from 13 percent to almost 24 percent. More than ever before, recycled waste is being kept out of our county dumps and incinerators and is being put to many different uses, creating new jobs and companies. Those who don t agree that recycling has any benefit say that recycling costs more than dumping, falsely claiming that recycling is a complete waste of money and time. However, recycling today is often less expensive than dumping or burning, and is quickly becoming the preferred alternative. In this essay, I want to show how recycling isn t just a business or environmental issue, it is something much larger that we must embrace and make a priority in our every day living. As stewards of this planet, we are obligated to make everyone cognizant of how important recycling is to our existence, and pass what we have learned on to future generations. If we can only begin to think differently about how we handle our every day waste, we can help ensure a clean environment well into the future. What is recycling? Recycling is returning materials to their raw material components and using them again to supplement or replace new materials in the manufacture of new products. Recycling involves several steps; separating recyclable materials from waste, collecting ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Analysis of Andre; S Mother by Terrence Mcnally Essay Analysis of Andre s Mother by Terrence McNally The play, Andre s Mother, by Terrence McNally is a story about accepting death and is based in a story about a young man who died before telling his mother that he was gay; leaving the man s partner to break the news and to inform the mother about how much he missed seeing her and his fear of being rejected by her, in the time before his death. The theme of this story is to live life everyday with no regrets. Throughout the symbols and references you begin to understand the life of Andre. The white balloon represents letting go and leaving a young man in peace. The silence of his mother shows that she never accepted his sexual preference. While Hamlet references the struggles of his everyday ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... At the end of the play Andre s mom with her own conflicts releases the balloon. The play write quotes, He goes, Andre s mother stands alone holding her white balloon. Her lips tremble. She looks on the verge of breaking down. She looks at it awhile before she gently kisses it and lets go of the balloon... • 14. Improving Reaction Time Reaction time is how much time it takes to react or respond to a stimulant. It is taken by the elapsed time between the beginning of the application of the stimulant and the beginning of an organism s reaction it. Atoms carry the charge of electricity and when the nerve impulse starts, it flows through the channels in the membrane. This changes the charge to positive from the resting stage to its negative charge. It then carries a nerve impulse through the cell axon into the synapse, causing neurotransmitters to be released into the synaptic cleft. Reaction time is genetically passed down, which demonstrates how improving reaction time could be difficult since it can only be improved by 10 20 percent with exercise or practice. One way to help increase reaction time would be having caffeine in your body because it stimulates adrenaline to be produced and increase improvement of percentage. Neurons are particular cells that transmit signals to the brain and are an important building block of the central nervous system. Neurons have action potential which is caused by ion channels that shut when the membrane potential close the resting potential. A Study on California s Smoking Ban California s Smoking Ban (APA Citation) It was in 1964 that the Surgeon General of the United States first published a report on the ill effects of smoking cigarettes, and within a year the first law requiring health warnings on cigarette packages was in effect. From that point, the government has slowly, but continually, imposed more and more restrictions on the use of tobacco products. Throughout the 1960s, 70 s, 80 s, and 90 s, the both individual jurisdictions within the State of California, as well as the entire state, continued to impose tougher and tougher restrictions on smoking cigarettes until 1994, when California became the first state in the union to pass a law which completely prohibited smoking in most enclosed workplaces. But by the early 21st century, the current restrictions were not enough for California s lawmakers and a push was started to ban smoking in all public places. Since the passage of these restrictions in the 1990 s, there has been a great deal of change in the state with advocates of the smoking ban pointing to the increased health benefits for the citizens of the state, while opponents focus on the economic damaged in the business community caused by the restrictions. • 30. How The Amygdala s Emotional Function Can Affect Sufferers... Review on How the Amygdala s Emotional Function can Affect Sufferers of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a relevant common mental disorder as it may affect approximately 2 3% of the population at any point (Green, 2003). There are numerous literatures on how a capacious amount of traumatic stress can affect the function of the brain, as the remembrance of a traumatic experience can affect attention and memory in the present which may lead to present day harm (Van der Kolk, 2006). Approximately thirty percent of individuals can develop PTSD following a traumatic event, however, certain events have higher rates (such as rape) (Acierno et al., 1999, cited in Elzinger and Bremner, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Johnson et al (2012) claims that the pathology of PTSD, is the natural response of threat reaction is heightened and fails to decrease and thus becomes an issue to an individual s psychological and physical well being. This follows on from Van der Kolk (2006) who stated that regions in the brain that accesses the memory of an event also supports intense emotion which affects sensory and motor functions within the Central Nervous System (CNS). This literature suggests that although PTSD is classed as anxiety, it is the memory involvement in which causes the physical stress reaction. Praag (2004) theorised that a sufferer of PTSD cannot easily erase memories of a certain stressful trauma. This follows on from Liberzon et al s (1999) study that the repetitious memory recall of a traumatic episode is a symptom of PTSD. This dysfunction of Memory involves certain brain regions, including the amygdaloidal complex and hippocampal formation. In Liberzon et al s study on 11 control subjects and 14 combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD, placing them in stressful situations using a single photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) machine found activation in the left amygdala on the PTSD sufferers but not with the control subjects. This suggests that the amygdala responds to unpleasant stimuli in individuals suffering with memories of a past traumatic episode. Other brain imaging studies have found a link between encoding ... • 31. Eight Disastrous Events Throughout this paper, I will examine eight disastrous events that led to the establishment of new buildings codes. The tragedies that took place during these events paved way for, new and improved codes that were implemented to help protect health, safety, and the natural resources that sustain us. The eight different events that I chose to research, I felt had the most significant impact in the development of some of the most commonly used building codes today. The first event that I will discuss is 9/11, 9/11 is one of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil. The second event is one of the largest hotel fires that ever broke out, which happened on November 21, 1980, at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The third event that I ... • 32. Thirty-Eight Who Saw Murder Didn T Call The Police, By... When humans experience excessive stress, whether from internal worry or an external circumstance, stimulus occurs and triggers a reaction called the fight or flight response. This response is built into our brains and is designed to protect us from bodily harm, preparing our body for running or fighting. Throughout Lord of the Flies by William Golding, The Destructors by Graham Greene, and the article Thirty Eight Who Saw Murder Didn t Call the Police by Martin Gansberg, both ideas of fight or flight are displayed. When faced with a tremendously stressful situation, those who have qualities of a leader tend to fight, addressing the problem directly and heading straight in. Those with a follower mentality tend to take flight, freezing up and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The mental debate that goes on within Jack s head, is whether or not he should listen to reason and let his fear keep him grounded. The inner voice of reason tries to stop Jack from trudging forward into the feared danger, but he could hear Piggy [...] calling him a kid, which in turn added this additional pressure to fight instead of listening to his gut instinct to run away (Golding 122). Followers like Piggy, put Jack s role as leader to the test. Despite his evident fear, Jack chooses to fight instead of take flight because of his perceived leadership character. Similarly, in The Destructors, Trevor or T, rises as a new leader within the gang that he joins. In the beginning of the short story, T suggests that the gang break into Old Misery s house and tear it down from the inside. At first, the boys are skeptical and wonder about whether [they d] go to jug for committing such a crime, but T reassures them that his plan is foolproof through the intensity in his voice (Greene 4). Since T gives off a confident impression in his words, a sense of validity, the boys agree to follow through with the plan. Eventually, even Blackie acknowledges the end of his leadership and succeeds his position as leader of the group to T (Greene 5). When the gang is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. How Television Has Changed Politics Ever since the invention of television, image and reputation became the real weapons of politics. Television has influenced everything since its invention in 1940 (Campbell). From product and movie ads, to news bulletins and important congressional hearings, television has changed the way how viewers look at the world; especially the way we vote. The very first televised debate was held on September 26, 1960 between Tricky Dick and JFK (Menand). The television allowed most of America to view the inner workings of deciding who would run the country next, instead of reading what happened in the last debate in Sunday s paper or hearing it on the radio. Though some listened to Nixon and Kennedy go back and forth on the issues on that Monday night, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Voters now felt that the candidates were more accessible and almost personally knew the contenders as friends rather than barely known voices on the radio. Politicians were now transformed from well dressed old men to rock stars and movie stars that spread their ideas and candidacy propaganda. Informality with television brought more unique and newer strategies to the living rooms of America; for instance, when Bill Clinton talked about his underwear on national TV in April 20, 1992 (Hart and Triece). Clinton s opponents like George H.W. Bush and Ross Perot this as a major blunder for his candidacy while younger voters interpreted this instance that Clinton was much more easygoing, relaxed, and unconstrained. Clinton ushered in a new tactic of visual politics which was if one was seen as more unconventional and laid back that this made the candidate more trustworthy and approachable. Although the television has revolutionized the way Americans got news and received political updates, the invention of the internet, mobile phone and social media platforms remolded the blueprint that television created. The continuing growth of consumer technology will forever take modern America on a roller coaster of information of who can get the news the fastest and how accurate the pieces are. However, with constant political updates in the pocket of every American, it seems that Washington is along for the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 35. Mary Tudor s Bloody Mary Mary Mary quite contrary. How does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockleshells. And pretty maids all in a row. This is a nursery that is believed to be associated with Mary Tudor, most commonly known as Bloody Mary . Sounds like an innocent nursey rhyme, right? But really, according to Gillies, the garden in the nursery rhyme is a reference to graveyards which were increasing in size, with those who dared to continue to follow the Protestant faith. The silver bells and cockleshells were said to be used as torture devices and the pretty maids mentioned in the nursery rhyme were in rows for guillotines. There are stories out there that dig deeper into the nursey rhyme and tell about the history and background of this nursery rhyme. Mary Bloody Mary Tudor failed her duties as queen, due to the forces some of which were not in her control effecting her life. Mary Tudor, according to Hope, has been known as a catholic dictator who killed nearly three hundred Protestants, all including men, women, and even children, during her short reign that lasted five years. Jessica Hope states that historians tried to re evaluate Mary s reputation and they have argued that Mary deserves more appreciation for her work than previously thought. This shows that Mary Tudor was not a bad person, but she did good things throughout her lifetime. Mary Tudor was born February 18, 1516 in a palace Palace of Placentia located in Greenwich, England. • 36. Effects Of Technology In Technology Advancements in Technology Affects Social Skills As the world of technology continues to advance, the ways in which humans communicate also continues to change dramatically. At one point in life all means of communication was face to face whereas now we are offered an abundance of different social media and technology concepts that have taken away from face to face communicating. Although we can look at the spread of social media to be a positive aspect in which it has helped people communicate in different ways, face to face social skills are still necessary for social growth and development. As use of technology becomes more common amongst children at a young age, it negatively affects communication because it promotes impersonal behavior. As society continues to change and adapt to modern day technology, social media becomes more widely used and accepted amongst people of various ages. Children are being born into a generation of Millennials where technology has become something most people tend to depend on to get through their daily lives. Elaina Zachos, an intern for public source states, The U.S. Census Bureau says there are 83.1 million people between the ages of 18 to 34 in the nation. Studies show the average Millennial spends 18 hours per day using any type of digital media. And, 90 percent of young adults use social media, which is up from 12 percent in 2005, the Pew Research Center reports. ( Zachos) Although this generation is much more connected and ... • 38. My Trip At The Airport It was a Sunday evening when my parents told us we were going on a trip. My younger brother Charlie and I were so excited since we ve never been out of the country before. We would be gone for only a week so I had to fit in as much as possible, I wanted to see all the history and culture this small country offered. I did all my research on it before we left and I even taught myself common terms. The day we left was a day I will never forget; I remember sitting at the airport shaking my leg like crazy because I was so eager to go. Flying there felt like forever but, the moment I saw the prodigious green mountains, I was astonished. The second I stepped outside the airport, I felt the crisp, cool air hit my skin and suddenly goose bumps ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After being very indecisive, we knew what to do. We wanted to take the Golden circle. It s basically a route in South Iceland covering some of the major landmarks. The next day we woke up pretty early so we could accomplish the whole route by the end of the day. The first place we headed for was the geyser in Haukadalur. It didn t take that long to get there, it was actually very beautiful on the way. It was all open land and mountains. The Geyser was incredible. It was a huge piece of brown land, like mud, with a giant hole in the middle. The hole was filled with water that boiled for about 10 minutes and then erupted through the ground at nearly 40 m high. After we stood there watching it erupt probably 3 times, we decided to go to our next stop: Þingvelli National park. It was one of the most breathtaking places I d ever seen. There were huge black rock formations with slightly green grass covering certain areas. Small streams ran through the whole thing. We hiked through a lot of it before we went to the Gullfoss Waterfall. It wasn t like any other waterfall. It was a waterfall on top of another waterfall. It stretched out far and you could see the glistening of a rainbow form on top of it. We walked along the trail beside it getting splashed with water. I just couldn t believe my eyes. It was like nothing I ve ever seen before. I wanted to stay there forever and just stare at this magnificent ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. Growing Professional Goals The Student Teacher as a Growing Professional (Goals 1 5) Areas of Strength (with evidence): One of my strengths is that I have a strong sense of a clear commitment to uphold the principles that should govern a democratic and pluralistic community (Goal 3). In the classes I teach I have been working on creating a classroom environment that is both safe and a positive learning environment. I created a class constitution during my first week of full immersion, and have been working with students to ensure that the expectations are being followed. For example, when students use disrespectful language in the classroom, I remind them about the class constitution. Furthermore, Juliet said that I have created a safe community where students feel ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After every lesson I take time to assess what I should change for the next time I do a lesson. Often during post conference conversations with Reiko I am able to identify places for improvement on my own. Juliet also said that I am increasingly proactive, and initiating in regards of being reflective. Also, I would say that compared to short practicum, I am much more open and responsive to feedback and constructive criticism (Goal 4); I ask questions to clarify the feedback I receive so that I am able to apply this feedback, and make changes to my future lessons. Furthermore, I have been adjusting my lessons to better fit the needs of the students I teach; my curriculum is continually and consciously reshaped through my experiences with a variety of learners in a range of socio cultural contexts (Goal 1). Where in the past, I have been worried about timing, I have been working on slowing down, and making sure that students understand the content of the lesson. For example, the TPCASTT analysis of poems ended up taking almost two more extra blocks then I had thought it would take. However, I also think that slowing down the lessons has helped more students understand the analysis process better. Additionally, I feel like I am gaining a stronger sense of what is best for particular students in particular situations (Goal 5). When I see a student struggling, I am able to break down the assignment or re explain the task in a different way so that the student understands it better. I have one student in my class who needs some direction before she is able to understand the assignment. I often help her with her pre write, and guide her as much as I can, so that she feels comfortable completing the rest of the assignment. Overall, I have grown in my ...
