This study compared 50 chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients to a control group of 50 healthy subjects matched for age and sex. The patient and control groups were similar in terms of age, sex, and other baseline characteristics. The study found that CLL patients had lower hemoglobin levels and higher rates of hepatosplenomegaly and lympadenopathy compared to the control group. The study also examined CD150 expression levels and found CLL patients with lower expression had shorter overall and disease-free survival times.
