1) RenovActive is a renovation project focused on energy savings, health, and comfort. It provides an affordable solution to renovate buildings according to the Active House vision using daylight and ventilation. 2) The prototype project involves renovating a 1920s three-façade house in Brussels that was previously uninhabitable. Key renovation elements included installing a light and air shaft, increasing daylight levels throughout the home, and implementing a hybrid ventilation system. 3) The renovated house will be monitored for two years to evaluate its technical performance and the occupants' well-being through questionnaires and interviews. The goal is to demonstrate an affordable model for sustainably renovating existing homes.
