Ferrero SpA is a £7.2 billion, privately-owned, Italian producer of chocolate and other confectionary
products. Ferrero is considered one of the top manufacturers in the chocolate industry, as well as one
of the most reliable companies in the world, including 38 trading companies, 18 factories, and
approximately 22,300 employees worldwide. Currently working as a key team member within the
Sales/Customer Development unit directly reporting to the Sales Execution Controller, the Head of
Customer Development and the Sales Director of Ferrero UK Ltd.
 Primary commercial support to Sales Director, which includes discussing present and future
strategies with the Finance Director as well.
 Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting. Mainly focusing on:
o Monitoring Volume and Revenue forecast for the current fiscal year
o Monitoring Sales Investment forecast for the current fiscal year
o Challenging Account Managers on weekly/monthly variances to be reported to Sales
Director
 Responsible for the presentation of the upcoming fiscal year business plan, making sure
deadlines are met in a timely fashion, and results are in line with Top Team and other
stakeholders expectations.

Consumer Promotions.

o Monitoring and challenging other investment buckets across all brands and channels
 Consumer Promotions influencing.
o Analyze margins on specific promotions (for existing SKUs or a brand new launch), and
provide feedback and recommendations to key stakeholders in the company.
 Monthly presentation to Sales Management Team
o Month-end performance highlights
o Discuss opportunities across DADI model
o Quick look at latest forecast to ensure alignment with latest expectations
o Highlight “winners and losers” by channel and by brand.
 Ad hoc requests. Multiple ad hoc requests depending on specific needs. Recent reports include:
Grocery Price Tracker, Triple Net Price analysis, Price Increase Impact tool, Distribution gap
potentials across multiple SKUs and channels.
 Commodities report. Monitoring main commodities to understand impact on the company’s
strategy.

Position: Financial Analyst
 Profit & Loss analysis across all brands monitoring current performance versus the forecasted
and the historic one.
 Controlling and challenging Sales Account Managers on promotions and in-store investments for
specific brands, products, and other ad-hoc projects.
o Responsible for 3 projects for the launch of new products and specific clients’ promotions
for following year’s Christmas and Easter.
 Monitoring and challenging Marketing Brand Managers to ensure the correct expenditures are
monthly occurring in line with the most recent forecast.
 Improved the financial monitoring of warehouse performance, through implementation of new
monthly reports and improved relationship efficiency with Supply Chain/Logistics department.
 Reporting weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc analysis to Ferrero Group (Luxembourg) through HFM
system and other Excel reports.
 Forecasting P&L every trimester for the remainder of the financial year.
 Medium-Term Plan by brand and by entity: building a dynamic model on which to base the next 3-
5 years.
 Producing economic simulations to allow the business to assess the profitability and feasibility of
new products and promotions. Activity involves constant communication with main factories
across Europe (Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, Poland, and Ireland), as well as internal
stakeholders.
 SKUs costs and prices input and monitored into SAP.
 Responsible for the calculation and maintenance of the company’s price list for Great Britain,
Ireland, and Channel Island, constant communication with other key departments.
 Owner of ad-hoc projects (i.e. Seasonal Project for Tesco) assigned by Financial Controller.
