cialized requirements and prefabri-
cated components for all industrial
sectors. Based on our decades of
experience in the manufacture of
high-grade prefabricated compo-
nents, new ways were found in the
fields of drying, firing, and com-
paction technology.
This enables us to implement com-
plex geometries with accurate fits
and optimum material properties
that are precisely matched to the
specific tasks.
In applications subjected to fast
temperature variations, severe
abrasion, and high mechanical
loads, standard concretes or
refractory bricks are not always
able to withstand these loads.
Now, REFRAWIRE®, the latest gen-
eration of our prefabricated com-
ponents is the ideal solution.
Prefabricated REFRAWIRE® com-
ponents were developed specifi-
cally to protect equipment linings
from thermal shocks and mechani-
cal influences.
Already during its production, the
modular structure of REFRAWIRE®
– steel fiber matrix plus casting
slurry – ensures perfect adapta-
tion to the individual application
conditions.
REFRAWIRE® components are suit-
able for a wide range of applica-
tion areas, e.g. in the iron & steel,
aluminium, refuse incineration,
and cement industries.

in our highly specialized factory
in Dülmen, Germany.

Since 2002, Refratechnik Steel
has been manufacturing pre-
fabricated, flow control, and gas
purging pro-ducts in their own fac-
tory. The rapid increase of these
applications forced Refratechnik to
expand their production capacity
in this field:
The new factory in Dülmen/Germa-
ny was inaugurated in September
2011, and meets today' increased
demands on technology, product
range, production capacities, and
environmental compatibility in a
sustainable manner.
Apart from the practically fully
automated production, innovative
functional components – also as
customized one-off parts – are
manufactured with consistent high
quality.

As a systems supplier, we develop refractory concepts for specific process technologies that always ensure optimum plant efficiency. We have developed optimized solutions for a wide range of spe- cialized requirements and prefabri- cated components for all industrial sectors. Based on our decades of experience in the manufacture of high-grade prefabricated compo- nents, new ways were found in the fields of drying, firing, and com- paction technology. This enables us to implement com- plex geometries with accurate fits and optimum material properties that are precisely matched to the specific tasks. In applications subjected to fast temperature variations, severe abrasion, and high mechanical loads, standard concretes or refractory bricks are not always able to withstand these loads. Now, REFRAWIRE®, the latest gen- eration of our prefabricated com- ponents is the ideal solution. Prefabricated REFRAWIRE® com- ponents were developed specifi- cally to protect equipment linings from thermal shocks and mechani- cal influences. Already during its production, the modular structure of REFRAWIRE® – steel fiber matrix plus casting slurry – ensures perfect adapta- tion to the individual application conditions.
