Creating a lining concept and
selecting the refractory products
to be used are complex tasks,
requiring precise knowledge of
the relevant operating and usage
conditions. This also includes
information on the state of the
vessel, the installation conditions
at the site and the time available
for lining.
Different combinations of wear
causes affect the individual lining
areas. The main causes of wear
are thermal, chemical and/or
mechanical wear.

The extremely good adhesion and spontaneous sintering make REFRATECT® G5 the perfect maintenance mass for wear linings with MACARBON® refractory lining. MACARBON® REFRAFLEX® bonded magnesia-carbon brick CERAMAC® burnt magnesia brick For all areas of production in the steel industry where there is a demand for refractory technology, Refratechnik Steel offer concepts and solutions which are adapted fundamentally to our customer`s individual situation. In this endeavour, we are able to draw on our extensive range of refractory products. Creating a lining concept and selecting the refractory products to be used are complex tasks, requiring precise knowledge of the relevant operating and usage conditions. This also includes information on the state of the vessel, the installation conditions at the site and the time available for lining. Different combinations of wear causes affect the individual lining areas. The main causes of wear are thermal, chemical and/or mechanical wear. Let’s talk about your goals.
