4. REFLECTION
In the stills that I have present I have shown the
main protagonist applying make-up to their face. I
like the way I have used close up shots to portray
the narrative.
The use of the black backdrop suggests the secrecy
and mysterious atmosphere of the narrative. The
dark shadows and backdrop will focus the
audienceās attention to the actor them selves
allowing nothing to distract the audience from the
focal point of the shot.
8. Reflection
Due to difficulties with meeting with all actors for this certain
scene, I will have to film my actors on separate day, however I
will use my editing techniques to manipulate and make the
audience believe that the two characters actually cross paths.
In order to do this I have used point of view shots to film the
cross dresser. When I film my other actor I will use the point
of view shot from the point of view of the cross dresser.
The significance of the point of view shot, is that it allows the
audience to feel empathetic and make them feel as if they are
experiencing/living in the narrative. I have also used a variety
of other shots to portray the character to the audience,
presenting the location and the costume of the character. The
idea that an unusual, āstrangeā character is placed in a normal
mundane setting.
