Month of Rajab The Holy Prophet (saws) has said, "Rajab is the month for seeking forgiveness, so seek forgiveness from Allah (swt)" The Holy Prophet (saws) has said, “Verily, Rajab is Allah’s month, Sha’aban my month and Ramadan the month of my Ummah; whosoever fasts a day in the month of Rajab will be granted the great reward of Ridwan (an angel in heaven); the wrath of Allah shall be distanced and a door of the Hell shall be closed.” Imam Musa al-Kadhim (as) says "Rajab is the name of a river in heaven, which is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey.Whoever fasts in Rajab shall be able to drink from that river".

Amaal for Month of Rajab 7 General Amaal for the Month of Rajab • Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (as) has reported the Holy Prophet (saws) as saying: Rajab is the month of imploring for forgiveness for my people; so, you should implore forgiveness repeatedly in this month much more than you do in other months, for Almighty Allah is forgiving and merciful. This month is described as the advantageous month, because mercy is poured on my people during it so heavily. You should thus repeat very much the following imploration prayer: َة بْ وّ تال ُ هُ لَ أْ سَ أَ و ّه لال ُ رِ فْ غَ تْ سَ أ
- 8. Amaal for Month of Rajab 8 I ask Allah for forgiveness and I pray Him to accept my repentance. • It is recommended to fast on three days in the month of Rajab: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It has been narrated that one who fasts on these three days in one of the Sacred Months will be awarded with the reward of nine hundred year worship. • If one is incapable of fasting during the month recite the following instead 100 times each day in the month of Rajab: ِ لا َ نَا حْ بُ س ٰل ِ ه ٱ ِ لِي لَ جْ ل Glory be to the All-majestic God.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 9 ِي غَ بْ نَ ي ال ْ نَ م َ نَا حْ بُ س ٱ َّ لت ُ هَ ل َّ ِال إ ُ حِي بْ س Glory be to Him other than Whom none should be glorified. َ نَا حْ بُ س ٱ ال ِّ َز ع ٱ ال ِ مَ رْ ك Glory be to the All-honorable and All- dignified. َ سِ بَ ل ْ نَ م َ نَا حْ بُ س ٱ َّ ِز عْ ل ا ُ هَ ل َ وُ هَ و ٌ لْ ه Glory be to Him Who has dressed Himself with grandeur that fits none but Him. • The Holy Prophet (saws) is reported as saying: Whoever repeats the following imploration for forgiveness 100 times in Rajab and immediately gives alms after it, Almighty Allah will conclude his life with mercy
- 10. Amaal for Month of Rajab 10 and forgiveness. Also, whoever repeats it 400 times, will be given the reward of one hundred martyrs: ا ُ رِ فْ غَ تْ س َ هَّ ٱلل ٱ َّ ل ِ إ ال ِي ذ ٰل َ وُ ه َّ ِال إ َ ه I implore the forgiveness of Allah. There is no god save Him, ُ هَ ل َ كِي رَ ش ال ُ هَ دْ حَ و the One and Only Who has no partner, َا و ِ إ ُ بُو ت ِ هْ يَ ل and I repent before Him. • The Holy Prophet (saws) is also reported to have said: Whoever repeats this litany 1000 times in Rajab, Almighty Allah will decide for him 100,000 rewards and award him 100 houses in Paradise:

Amaal for Month of Rajab 11 ُ هَّ ٱلل َّ ِال إ َ هٰلِ إ َ ال There is no god save Allah. • A Hadith reads that whoever repeats the following imploration for forgiveness 70 times in the morning and 70 times in the evening on each day in Rajab, will be admitted by Almighty Allah if he dies in Rajab and Hellfire will not touch him on account of the blessings of Rajab: ا ُ رِ فْ غَ تْ س َ هَّ ٱلل َا و ِ إ ُ بُو ت ِ هْ يَ ل I implore the forgiveness of Allah and I repent to Him. After this imploration is repeated seventy times, it is recommended to raise

Amaal for Month of Rajab 12 the hands towards the sky and say: َّ َي لَ ع ْ بُ تَ و ِي ل ْ رِ فْ غٱ َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا O Allah, (please do) forgive me and accept my repentance. • It is recommended to implore Almighty Allah for forgiveness in the following form one thousand times in Rajab so that He will forgive: ا ُ رِ فْ غَ تْ س َ هَّ ٱلل َ اَ ذ ٱ َ لَ جْ ل َ و ِ ل ٱ ِ ل ِ مَا رْ ك I implore Allah, the Lord of majesty and honor, ِ عِي مَ ج ْ نِ م ٱ ُّ لذ َ و ِ بُو ن ٱ ِ مَا ثآل to forgive my all sins and offenses.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 13 • One who recites Surah Tawheed 100 times on Fridays in Rajab will enjoy, on the Resurrection Day, light that draws him towards Paradise. • It has been narrated that the Holy Prophet (saws) said, “One who recites Surah al-Tawheed 100 times at one night in Rajab will be decided to have fasted for one hundred years for the sake of Almighty Allah Who will also decide for him one hundred palaces (in Paradise) in the vicinity of one of the Prophets.” • The Holy Prophet (saws) is also reported as saying that Almighty Allah will forgive all the sins of

Amaal for Month of Rajab 15 Dua to be recited after Every Obligatory Prayer Dua Ya Man Arjuhu Li Kulli Khair It has been narrated from Imam Jafar Sadiq; In the Name of Allah, the All- beneficent the All-merciful. You may say the following (supplicatory prayer) each day in Rajab; in mornings, evenings, and after each of the obligatory prayers: ا ْ نَ م َا ي ِّ ُل كِ ل ُ هُو جْ ر ٍ رْ يَ خ O He Whom alone I hope for all good things و ِّ ُل ك َ دْ نِ ع ُ هَ طَ خَ س ُ نَ مآ ٍّ شر

Amaal for Month of Rajab 16 and Whose wrath I do not expect when I do wrong! ِي طْ عُ ي ْ نَ م َا ي ٱ َ رِي ثَ كْ ل ِ ب ٱ ِ لِي لَ قْ ل O He Who recompenses the little deed with very much reward! ْ نَ م َا ي ُ ي َ طْ ع ي َا س ْ نَ م ُ هَ ل O He Who answers one who begs Him! ْ نَ م َا ي ُ ي ْط ع ي ْا سَ ي ْ مَ ل ْ نَ م َ و ُ هْ ل ْ نَ م ُ هْ فِ رْ عَ ي ْ مَ ل O He Who gives those who do not ask Him and do not even recognize Him ُّ َن حَ ت ً ةَ مْ حَ رَ و ُ هْ نِ م نًا out of His kindness and mercifulness! ا ْا سَ مِ ب ِي نِ طْ ع ِ رْ يَ خ ِ عِي مَ ج ْ نِ م ِي تل ٱ ُّ لد َا يْ ن (Please do) give me, for I pray You, the whole welfare of this world

Amaal for Month of Rajab 17 ِ رْ يَ خ ِ عِي مَ جَ و ٱ ِ ةَ رِ خآل and the whole welfare of the Next World ْ سَ مِ ب ّي نَ ع ْ فِ رْ صَٱ و ا َ كَّا ِي إ َتي ل and save me, for I pray You, ُّ ٱلد ِّ َر ش َ عَمي ج َة رِ خٱآل ِّ َر شَ و ْيا ن the whole evil of this world and the Next World. ِ إَ ف َّ ن ا َا م ٍ صُو قْ نَ م ُ رْ يَ غ ُ ه َ تْ يَ طْ ع Verily, all that which You give is unblemished. ُ مِي رَ ك َا ي َ كِ لْ ضَ ف ِ ةَ عَ س ْ نِ م ِي نْ دِ زَ و (Please do) increase Your favors upon me, O All-generous! The narrator then added that Imam al-
- 18. Amaal for Month of Rajab 18 Sadiq (`a) then grasped his beard with his left hand, while saying this supplicatory prayer, and moved ceaselessly the forefinger of his right hand. He then added: َ اَ ذ َا ي ٱ َ و ِ لَل جْ ل ٱ ِ ل ِ مَا رْ ك O Lord of Majesty and Honor! َ اَ ذ َا ي ٱ َّ لن َ و ِ ءَا مْ ع ٱ ِ دُو جْ ل O Lord of bliss and magnanimity! َ اَ ذ َا ي ٱ ِّ َن مْ ل َ و ٱ َّ لط ِ لْ و O Lord of favor and munificence! ِّ َر ح ٰىَ لَ ع ِي تَ بْ يَ ش ْ م ٱ ِ رَّا لن (Please do) rescue my white-hair beard from Hellfire.
- 19. Amaal for Month of Rajab 19 Salaah to be recited Every Night in the Month of Rajab It is recommended to offer a sixty-unit prayer in Rajab. Each night, it is recommended to offer two units of this prayer in the first unit of which Surah al- Fatihah is recited once, Surah al-Kafirun (No. 109) repeated three times, and Surah al-Tawhid recited one time. After the accomplishment of the two prayer units, it is recommended to raise the hands towards the sky and say the following: ِ إ ال ٰل َّ ِال إ َ ه ٱ ُ هَّ لل There is no god save Allah, ال ُ هَ دْ حَ و ُ هَ ل َ كِي رَ ش the One and Only Who has no partner.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 20 ُ هَ ل ٱ ُ هَ لَ و ُ كْ لُ مْ ل ٱ ُ دْ مَ حْ ل To Him is the kingdom and to Him is all praise. ُ تِي مُ يَ و ِي يْ حُ ي He restores to live and cause to die ٌّ َي ح َ وُ هَ و ُ تُو مَ ي ال and He is Ever-living and He never dies. ِ دَ يِ ب ِ ه ٱ ُ رْ يَ خْ ل In His Hands is all goodness, ِّ ُل ك ٰىَ لَ ع َ وُ هَ و ٌ رِي دَ ق ٍ ءْ يَ ش He has power over all things, ِ إَ و ِ هْ يَ ل ٱ ُ رِي صَ مْ ل and to Him is the return of all things.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 21 َّ ُو ق َ الَ و َ لْ وَ ح َ الَ و ِ هَّ ِٱلل ب َّ ِال إ َ ة ٱ ِّ ِي لَ عْ ل ٱ ِ مِي ظَ عْ ل There is neither might nor strength save with Allah, the Most High, the All-great. ِّ َل ص َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع ٍ د ٱ َّ لن ِّ ِي ب ٱ ال ِّ م ِّ ي ِ هِ لَآ و O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad, the Ummi Prophet, and his Household. It is also recommended to pass one’s hand over the face while uttering the last statement. The Holy Prophet (saws) is reported to have said that if one offers this prayer and says this supplicatory prayer, Almighty Allah will respond to his needs and award him the reward of sixth times of Hajj and `Umrah (ritual pilgrimage).

- 23. Amaal for Month of Rajab 23 Duas to be recited Everyday in the Month of Rajab Dua Ya Man Yamliku Hawaaij It is advisable to say the following supplicatory prayer each day in Rajab. It has been narrated that Imam Zayn al- Abideen (as) used to say this supplicatory prayer on the first day of Rajab while he was imprisoned: َ جِ ئَا وَ ح ُ كِ لْ مَ ي ْ نَ م َا ي ٱ َ نِي لِ ئَّا لس O He who manages the wants of the needy, َ رِي مَ ض ُ مَ لْ عَ يَ و ٱ َ نِي تِ مَّا لص and is aware of that which is hidden in the heart of the silent sufferers!

Amaal for Month of Rajab 24 ِّ ُل كِ ل ْا سَ م ٌ رِ ضَا ح ٌ عْ مَ س َ كْ نِ م ٍ ةَ ل Every problem receives Your attention, ٌ دِي تَ ع ٌ بَا وَ جَ و and is settled well. َ كُ دِي عَا وَ مَ و َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا ٱ ُ ةَ قِ دَّا لص O Allah, Your promises come true, َا و َ كِي دَا ي ٱ ُ ةَ لِ ضَا فْ ل Your favors are many, َ كُ تَ مْ حَ رَ و ٱ ُ ةَ عِ سَا وْ ل and Your Mercy is extensive, َا ف ْا س ا َ كُ ل ِّ َل صُ ت ْ ن َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع َ ي ِ لَآ و ٍ د َّ َم حُ م ٍ د

Amaal for Month of Rajab 25 therefore, I beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, َا و ُّ ِلد ل ِي جِ ئَا وَ ح َ يِ ضْ قَ ت ْ ن َ و َا يْ ن ٱ ِ ةَ رِ خآل and fulfill my desires in this world and in the world to come. َّ إن ِّ ُل ك ٰىَ لَ ع َ ك ٌ رِي دَ ق ٍ ءْ يَ ش Verily, You have power over all things.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 26 Dua Khaabal Waafidoon It is recommended to say the following supplicatory prayer that Imam Ja`far al- Sadiq (`a) used to say everyday in Rajab: َ بَا خ ٱ َ كِ رْ يَ غ ٰىَ لَ ع َ نُو دِ فَا وْ ل Those who come to anyone other than You have really gone wrong. َ رِ سَ خَ و ٱ ِّ َر عَ تُ مْ ل َ كَ ل َّ ِال إ َ نُو ض Those who visit anyone other than You have missed the right way. َ ضَ و ٱ َ ع ُّ ِم لُ مْ لا َ كِ ب َّ ِال إ َ نو Those who depend upon other than You have lost except those who depend upon You. َا و َ بَ دْ ج ٱ ِ نَ م َّ ِال إ َ نُو عِ جَ تْ نُ مْ ل ٱ َ عَ جَ تْ ن
- 27. Amaal for Month of Rajab 27 َ كَ لْ ضَ ف Those who have had recourse to other than Your favors will have lived in poverty except those who have recourse to Your favors. َ نِي بِ غَّا ِلر ل ٌ حُو تْ فَ م َ كُ بَا ب Your door is always open before those who desire for You. َ نِي بِ لَّا ِلط ل ٌ لُو ذْ بَ م َ كُ رْ يَ خَ و Your wealth is always available for those who seek it. َ نِي لِ ئَّا ِلس ل ٌ حَا بُ م َ كُ لْ ضَ فَ و Your favors are always obtainable by those who ask for them. َ نِي لِ مِآل ل ٌ حَا تُ م َ كُ لْ يَ نَ و

Amaal for Month of Rajab 28 Your rewards are accessible for those who hope for them. َ كَا صَ ع ْ نَ مِ ل ٌ طُو سْ بَ م َ كُ قْ زِ رَ و Your sustenance is extended for even those who disobey You. ُ م َ كُ مْ لِ حَ و َ كَا وَا ن ْ نَ مِ ل ٌ ضِ رَ تْ ع Your forbearance is reachable for even those who antagonize You. َ كُ تَ دَا ع ٱ ِ ل ٰىَ لإ ُ نَا سْ ح ٱ َ نِي ئِي سُ مْ ل Your habit is to do favor to the wrongdoers َ كُ لِي بَ سَ و ٱ ِ ل ٰىَ لَ ع ُ ءَا قْ ب ٱ َ نِي دَ تْ عُ مْ ل and Your custom is to overlook the transgressors. َ ا َّ لل َّ ُم ه َ ف ٱ ٰىَ دُ ه ِي نِ دْ ه ٱ َ نِي دَ تْ هُ مْ ل
- 29. Amaal for Month of Rajab 29 O Allah, (please do) lead me to the path of the well-guided ones, َ و ٱ ِي نْ قُ زْ ر ٱ َ دَا هِ تْ ج ٱ َ نِي دِ هَ تْ جُ مْ ل grant me the determination of the hardworking ones, َ نِ م ِي نْ لَ عْ جَ ت َ الَ و ٱ َ نِي لِ فَا غْ ل ٱ َ نِي دَ عْ بُ مْ ل do not include me with the unmindful ones who are dismissed (from Your mercy), َ و ٱ َ مْ وَ ي ِي ل ْ رِ فْ غ ٱ ِّ لد ِ ني and forgive me on the Judgment Day.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 30 Dua Allahumma Inni Asaluka Sabr In his book of al-Misbah, Shaykh al- Tusi mentions that al-Mu`alla ibn Khunays has reported Imam Ja`far al- Sadiq (`a) as saying, “In Rajab, you may say the following supplicatory prayer; It has been also mentioned by Sayyid Ibn Tawus al-Hasani in his book of Iqbal al- A`mal. According to the narration, this supplicatory prayer is the most comprehensive and it is advisable to repeat it any time. َ ا َّ لل َّ ُم ه ا ّي نإ ْا س َ رْ بَ ص َ كُ ل ٱ َ كَ ل َ نِي رِ كَّا لش O Allah, I implore You for the endurance of those who always thank You,

Amaal for Month of Rajab 31 َ لَ مَ عَ و ٱ َ كْ نِ م َ نِي فِ ئَا خْ ل the efforts of those who fear You, َ نِي قَ يَ و ٱ َ كَ ل َ نِي دِ بَا عْ ل and the faith of those who worship You. َ ا َّ لل َّ ُم ه ا َ تْ ن ٱ ُّ ِي لَ عْ ل ٱ ُ مِي ظَ عْ ل O Allah, You are verily the Most High, the All-great, َا و َ كُ دْ بَ ع َا ن ٱ ُ سِ ئَا بْ ل ٱ ُ رِي قَ فْ ل while I am Your servant—the miserable and the needy. ا َ تْ ن ٱ ُّ ِي نَ غْ ل ٱ ُ دِي مَ حْ ل You are the Self-Sufficient, the Praised, َا و َا ن ٱ ُ دْ بَ عْ ل ٱ َّ لذ ُ لِي ل
- 32. Amaal for Month of Rajab 32 while I am the humble servant. ِّ َل ص َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع ِ هِ لَآ و ٍ د O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household َ و ٱ ِي رْ قَ ف ٰىَ لَ ع َ كَا نِ غِ ب ْ نُ نْ م and do favor to my neediness through Your self-sufficiency, ِي لْ هَ ج ٰىَ لَ ع َ كِ مْ لِ حِ بَ و to my impatience through Your forbearance, َّ ُو قِ بَ و ِي فْ عَ ض ٰىَ لَ ع َ كِ ت and to my weakness through Your power. ُّ ِي وَ ق َا ي ُ زِي زَ ع َا ي O All-power, O Almighty.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 33 ِّ َل ص َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع ِ هِ لَآ و ٍ د O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household; ٱ ال ِ ءَا يِ صْ و ٱ ِّ ِي ضْ رَ مْ ل َ ني the Successors (of prophet hood) and the Pleased; َ و ٱ ا َا م ِي نِ فْ ك َّ َم ه ا ْ نِ م ِي ن ِ رْ م ٱ ُّ لد َ و َا يْ ن ٱ ِ ةَ رِ خآل and save me from whatever aggrieves me among the worldly and religious affairs. ا َا ي َ مَ حْ ر ٱ َ نِي مِ حَّا لر O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

Amaal for Month of Rajab 34 Dua Allahumma Ya Zal Minan Shaykh al-Tusi has also mentioned that the following supplicatory prayer is advisedly repeated each day in Rajab: (This supplicatory prayer is also advisably said in Masjid Sa’sa ah.) َ اَ ذ َا ي َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا ٱ ِ نَ نِ مْ ل ٱ ِ ةَ غِ بَّا لس O Allah, the Lord of the complete favors, َ و ٱ ِ ءآلال ٱ ِ ةَ عِ زَا وْ ل the utter bounties, َ و ٱ َّ لر ِ ةَ مْ ح ٱ ِ ةَ عِ سَا وْ ل the immense mercy, َ و ٱ ِ ةَ رْ دُ قْ ل ٱ ِ ةَ عِ مَا جْ ل the all-embracing power,
- 35. Amaal for Month of Rajab 35 َ و ٱ ِّ لن ِ مَ ع ٱ ِ ةَ مِي سَ جْ ل the vast graces, َ و ٱ ِ بِ هَا وَ مْ ل ٱ ِ ةَ مِي ظَ عْ ل the great bestowals, َ و ٱ ال ِي دَا ي ٱ ِ ةَ لِي مَ جْ ل the nice gifts, َ و ٱ َا يَا طَ عْ ل ٱ ِ ةَ لِي زَ جْ ل and the abundant donations! ٍ لِي ثْ مَ تِ ب ُ تَ عْ نُ ي ال ْ نَ م َا ي O He Who is not resembled to anything, َّ َث مُ ي َ الَ و ٍ رِي ظَ نِ ب ُ ل is not likened to any match, ٍ رِي هَ ظِ ب ُ بَ لْ غُ ي َ الَ و

Amaal for Month of Rajab 36 and is not overcome by any supported one! َ قَ زَ رَ ف َ قَ لَ خ ْ نَ م َا ي O He Who has created and then granted sustenance, َا و َا ف َ مَ هْ ل َ قَ طْ ن has inspired to understand and then made speech, َ و ٱ َ عَ رَ شَ ف َ عَ دَ تْ ب has made and then enacted laws, َ لَ عَ و َ ف ٱ َ عَ فَ تْ ر has risen high and then elevated, َّ َد قَ و َا ف َ ر َ نَ سْ ح has estimated so perfectly, َّ َو صَ و َا ف َ ر َ نَ قْ ت
- 37. Amaal for Month of Rajab 37 has shaped so excellently, َ و ٱ َّ َج تْ ح َا ف َ غَ لْ ب has provided arguments so conclusively, َا و َا ف َ مَ عْ ن َ غَ بْ س has bestowed so completely, َا و َا ف ٰىَ طْ ع َ لَ زْ ج has granted so abundantly, َا ف َ حَ نَ مَ و َ لَ ضْ ف and has conferred so favorably! ِي ف َا مَ س ْ نَ م َا ي ٱ ِّ ِز عْ ل O He Who has elevated so honorably َ رِ ظَا وَ ن َ تَا فَ ف ٱ ال ِ رَا صْ ب that all sights have missed Him,
- 38. Amaal for Month of Rajab 38 ِي ف َا نَ دَ و ٱ ُّ لل ِ فْ ط and has approached so gently َ سِ جَا وَ ه َ زَا جَ ف ٱ ال ِ رَا كْ ف that He has passed all apprehensions! َّ َح وَ ت ْ نَ م َا ي ِ ب َ د ٱ ِ كْ لُ مْ ل O He Who has possessed so incomparably َّ ِد ن َ لَ ف ِ هِ نَا طْ لُ س ِ تُو كَ لَ م ِي ف ُ هَ ل that no peer can ever be found for Him in the domination of His power َّ َر فَ تَ و ِ ب َ د ٱ َ الآل َ و ِ ء ٱ ِ ءَا يِ رْ بِ كْ ل and has been so matchless in bounties and pride َّ ِد ض َ لَ ف َ ش ِ تُو رَ بَ ج ِي ف ُ هَ ل ا ِ هِ ن
- 39. Amaal for Month of Rajab 39 that nothing can oppose Him in the omnipotence of His situation! َ بْ يَ ه ِ ءَا يِ رْ بِ ك ِي ف ْ تَ رَا ح ْ نَ م َا ي ُ قِ ئَا قَ د ِ هِ ت ِ فِ ئَا طَ ل ٱ ال ِ مَا هْ و O He, the pride of Whose dignity has perplexed even the finest allusions َ و ٱ ِ إ َ نُو د ْ تَ رَ سَ حْ ن ُ فِ ئَا طَ خ ِ هِ تَ مَ ظَ ع ِ كَا رْ د ا ِ رَا صْ ب ٱ ال ِ مَا ن and Whose greatness cannot be recognized by even the twinkling of the people’s sights! ِ تَ نَ ع ْ نَ م َا ي ٱ ِ هِ تَ بْ يَ هِ ل ُ هُو جُ وْ ل O He before Whose dignity all faces have humbled themselves, ِ تَ عَ ضَ خَ و ٱ ِّ لر ِ هِ تَ مَ ظَ عِ ل ُ بَا ق
- 40. Amaal for Month of Rajab 40 to Whose greatness all necks submitted, ِ تَ لِ جَ وَ و ٱ ِ هِ تَ فِي خ ْ نِ م ُ بُو لُ قْ ل and Whom is feared by all hearts! ا ْا س ٰهِ ب َ كُ ل ِ هِ ذ ٱ ِ ةَ حْ دِ مْ ل ٱ َّ ل َّ ِال إ ِي غَ بْ نَ ت ال ِي ت َ كَ ل I pray to You in the name of this piece of praise that none deserves save You, َا و َا مِ بَ و َ نِ م َ كِي عَا دِ ل َ كِ سْ فَ ن ٰىَ لَ ع ِ هِ ب َ تْ ي ٱ َ نِي نِ مْ ؤُ مْ ل in the name of that which You have made incumbent upon Yourself for the believers who pray to You, َ تْ نِ مَ ض َا مِ بَ و ٱ ِ ل َ كِ سْ فَ ن ٰىَ لَ ع ِ هِي ف َ ةَ بَا ج َ نِي عَّا ِلد ل
- 41. Amaal for Month of Rajab 41 and in the name of Your guaranteeing response for those who supplicate to You. ا َا ي َ عَ مْ س ٱ َ نِي عِ مَّا لس O best hearer of all those who can hear! َا و َ رَ صْ ب ٱ َ نِي رِ ظَّا لن O best seer of all those who can see! َا و َ عَ رْ س ٱ َ نِي بِ سَا حْ ل O swiftest in calling to account! َ اَ ذ َا ي ٱ َّ ُو قْ ل ِ ة ٱ َ نِي تَ مْ ل O Lord of Power, O Strong! ِّ َل ص َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع ِ مَ تَا خ ٍ د ٱ َّ لن ِّ ِي ب َ ني ٰىَ لَ عَ و ا ِ هِ تْ يَ ب ِ لْ ه
- 42. Amaal for Month of Rajab 42 (Please do) bless Muhammad, the seal of the Prophets, and his Household, َ و ٱ ٰه َا نِ رْ هَ ش ِي ف ِي ل ْ مِ سْ ق َا م َ رْ يَ خ َا ذ َ تْ مَ سَ ق and grant us a portion of the best of that which You decide in this month, َ و ٱ َ خ َ كِ ئَا ضَ ق ِي ف ِي ل ْ مِ تْ ح َ تْ مَ تَ ح َا م َ رْ ي choose for me the best act that You decide, َ و ٱ َ ب ِي ل ْ مِ تْ خ ٱ َّ لس َ تْ مَ تَ خ ْ نَ مِي ف ِ ةَ دَا ع seal my life with happiness with which You seal the lives of others, َا و ا َا م ِي نِ يْ ح ُورًا فْ وَ م ِي نَ تْ يَ يْ ح adorn my whole life with abundant wealth,
- 43. Amaal for Month of Rajab 43 َا و ُورًا فْ غَ مَ و ُورًا رْ سَ م ِي نْ تِ م grasp my soul with happiness and forgiveness of my sins, َّ َل وَ تَ و ا ِ ةَ لَ ءَا سُ م ْ نِ م ِي تَا جَ ن َ تْ ن ٱ ِ خَ زْ رَ بل be my Redeemer as regards the Interrogation of the Grave, َ و ٱ ْر د ا ِّ َن ع ِيرًا كَ نَ و َرًا كُن م ي protect me against Munkar and Nakeer, َا و ِّ َش بُ م ِي نْ يَ ع ِ ر ِيرًا شَ بَ و رًا let my eyes see Mubashshir and Basheer, َ و ٱ ِ إ ِي ل ْ لَ عْ ج ِيرًا صَ م َ كِ نَا نِ جَ و َ كِ نَا وْ ضِ ر ٰىَ ل cause the end of my march to be towards Your pleasure and Paradises,
- 44. Amaal for Month of Rajab 44 ِيرًا رَ ق ْشًا يَ عَ و decide for me delightful living ِيرًا بَ ك ْكًا لُ مَ و and big kingdom, ِّ َل صَ و َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع ِيرًا ثَ ك ِ هِ لَآ و ٍ د and bless Muhammad and his Household very much.
- 45. Amaal for Month of Rajab 45 Dua Allahumma Inni Asaluka Bi Ma’aani Shaykh al-Tusi has narrated that the following holy Signature (Tawqee) – Signed Letter of Imam Mahdi (atfs) was conveyed to his representative Shaykh Abu-Ja`far Muhammad ibn `Uthman ibn Sa`eed: On each day in Rajab, you may say the following supplicatory prayer: ِ مْ سِ ب ِ هَّ ٱلل ٱ َّ لر ٰمْ ح ِ ن ٱ َّ لر ِ مِي ح In the Name of Allah, the All- beneficent, the All-merciful. ِّ إن َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا ا ي ْا س َا م ِ عِي مَ ج ِي نَا عَ مِ ب َ كُ ل ا ُ ةُال و ِ هِ ب َ كُو عْ دَ ي َ كِ رْ م
- 46. Amaal for Month of Rajab 46 O Allah, I implore You in the name of the meanings of all the names by which You are prayed by Your representatives, ٱ َ مْ ل ا ِّ ِر س ٰىَ لَ ع َ نُو نُو م َ ك the trustees with Your secret, ٱ با َ نُو رِ شْ بَ تْ سُ مْ ل َ كِ رْ م the conveyers of Your affairs, ٱ َ كِ تَ رْ دُ قِ ل َ نُو فِ صَا وْ ل the describers of Your power, ٱ َ كِ تَ مَ ظَ عِ ل َ نُو نِ لْ عُ مْ ل and the announcers of Your greatness. ا ْا س َ كِ تَ ئِي شَ م ْ نِ م ْ مِ هِي ف َ قَ طَ ن َا مِ ب َ كُ ل I implore You by Your will that has manifested itself through them
- 47. Amaal for Month of Rajab 47 َ كِ تَا مِ لَ كِ ل َ نِ دَا عَ م ْ مُ هَ تْ لَ عَ جَ ف and thus You have made them the essences of Your Words, َا و َ كِ دِي حْ وَ تِ ل َانًا كْ ر the indications to Your Oneness, َّ ال َ كِ تَا مَا قَ مَ و َ كِ تَا يَآ و َا هَ ل َ لِي طْ عَ ت ال ِي ت the signs leading to You, and Your Standings that are non-stop ِّ ُل ك ِي ف َ كَ فَ رَ ع ْ نَ م َا هِ ب َ كُ فِ رْ عَ ي ٍ نَا كَ م in each place where those who recognize You could only recognize You through them. ا َّ ِال إ َا هَ نْ يَ بَ و َ كَ نْ يَ ب َ قْ رَ ف ال َّ ن َ كُ دَا بِ ع ْ مُ ه َ كُ قْ لَ خَ و
- 48. Amaal for Month of Rajab 48 No difference between You and them save that they are Your servants and creatures. َ كِ دَ يِ ب َا هُ قْ تَ رَ و َا هُ قْ تَ ف The opening and the closing of all things are in Your hand alone. َ كْ يَ لإ َا هُ دْ وَ عَ و َ كْ نِ م َا هُ ؤْ دَ ب The inauguration and the conclusion of all things belong to You alone. ا َا و ٌ دَا ضْ ع ٌ دَا هْ ش (They are thus only) supporters, witnesses, َا و ٌ ةَا نُ مَ و ٌ دَا وْ ذ wishing (Your mercy), protecting (Your religion), ٌ دَّا ُو رَ و ٌ ةَ ظَ فَ حَ و
- 49. Amaal for Month of Rajab 49 saving (Your laws), and pioneers (to the obedience to You). َ لَ م ْ مِ هِ بَ ف ا َا و َ كَ ءَا مَ س َ ت َ كَ ضْ ر With them have You filled Your heavens and earth ا َ رَ هَ ظ ٰىَّ َت ح ْ ن َ ال ِ إ ٰل ا َّ ِال إ َ ه َ تْ ن until it has become obvious that there is no god save You. ٰذِ بَ ف ا َ كِ ل ْا س َ كُ ل I thus implore You in the name of all this, ِ عِ قَا وَ مِ بَ و ٱ ِّ ِز عْ ل َ كِ تَ مْ حَ ر ْ نِ م in the name of the sites of dignity in Your mercy, َ كِ تَا مَل عَ و َ كِ تَا مَا قَ مِ بَ و
- 50. Amaal for Month of Rajab 50 in the name of Your standings and Signs, ا ِّ َل صُ ت ْ ن َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع َ ي ِ هِ لَآ و ٍ د to send blessings to Muhammad and his Household َا و ِ إ ِي نَ دِي زَ ت ْ ن ي ـ ِيتًا بْ ثَ تَ و َانًا م and increase my faith and firmness. ِ هِ رُو هُ ظ ِي ف ِنًا طَا ب َا ي O He Who is Immanent in His Evidence! َ ظَ و ِ هِ نُو نْ كَ مَ و ِ هِ نُو طُ ب ِي ف ِرًا ها O He Who is Evident in His Immanence and in His hiddenness! ِّ َر فُ م َا ي َ نْ يَ ب قًا ٱ ُّ لن َ و ِ رو ٱ َّ لد ِ رُو جي O He Who sets apart light from murk!
- 51. Amaal for Month of Rajab 51 ٍ هْ نُ ك ِ رْ يَ غِ ب ُوفًا صْ وَ م َا ي O He Whom is described without recognition of his real essence! ٍ هْ بِ ش ِ رْ يَ غِ ب ُوفًا رْ عَ مَ و and He Whom is recognized without having anything like Him! َّ َاد ح ِّ ُل ك ٍ دُو دْ حَ م O Edger of all edged things! ِّ ُل ك َ دِ هَا شَ و ٍ دُو هْ شَ م O Witness of all done things! ِّ ُل ك َ دِ جُو مَ و ٍ دُو جْ وَ م O Bringer into being all existent things! ِّ ُل ك َ يِ صْ حُ مَ و ٍ دُو دْ عَ م
- 52. Amaal for Month of Rajab 52 O Knower of the number of all countable things! ِّ ُل ك َ دِ قَا فَ و ٍ دُو قْ فَ م O Knower of the place of all lost things! ٍ دُو بْ عَ م ْ نِ م َ كَ نُو د َ سْ يَ ل None is worshipped except You. ا َ لْ ه ٱ َ و ِ ءَا يِ رْ بِ كْ ل ٱ ِ دُو جْ ل You are the worthiest of all pride and magnanimity. َّ َي كُ ي ال ْ نَ م َا ي ٍ فْ يَ كِ ب ُ ف O He about Whom, it is infeasible to as ‘how’ َّ َي ؤُ ي َ الَ و ِا ب ُ ن ٍ نْ ي and it is infeasible to ask ‘where’!
- 53. Amaal for Month of Rajab 53 ِّ ُل ك ْ نَ ع ِبًا جَ تْ حُ م َا ي ٍ نْ يَ ع O He Who is concealed from all sights! ُّ َي ق َا ي ُ مُو مْ يَ د َا ي ِّ ُل ك َ مِ لَا عَ و ُ مو ٍ مُو لْ عَ م O Everlasting, O Self-Subsistent, O Knower of all known things! ِّ َل ص َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع َ كِ دَا بِ ع ٰىَ لَ عَ و ِ هِ لَآ و ٍ د ٱ َ نِي بَ جَ تْ نُ مْ ل (Please do) send blessings to Muhammad, his Household, Your selected servants, َ كِ رَ شَ بَ و ٱ َ نِي بِ جَ تْ حُ مْ ل Your concealed human beings, َ كِ تَ كِ ئَل مَ و ٱ َّ َر قُ مْ ل َ نِي ب Your favorite angels,
- 54. Amaal for Month of Rajab 54 َ و ٱ ِ مْ هُ بْ ل ٱ ِّ َّاف لص َ ني ٱ ِّ َاف حْ ل َ ني and the Angels who draw themselves out in ranks and who throng (round the Divine Throne), َا ذٰه َا نِ رْ هَ ش ِي ف َا نَ ل ْ كِ رَا بَ و ٱ َّ َج رُ مْ ل ِ ب ٱ َّ َر كُ مْ ل ِ م and bless us in this month—the honored and dignified— َ نِ م ُ هَ دْ عَ ب َا مَ و ٱ ال ِ رُ هْ ش ٱ ِ مُ رُ حْ ل as well as the next sacred months, َا و ِ هِي ف َا نْ يَ لَ ع ْ غِ بْ س ٱ ِّ لن َ مَ ع pour upon us Your graces in this month, َا و ِ هِي ف َا نَ ل ْ لِ زْ ج ٱ َ مَ سِ قْ ل grant us abundant shares of blessings,
- 55. Amaal for Month of Rajab 55 َا و ِ هِي ف َا نَ ل ْ رِ رْ ب ٱ َ مَ سَ قْ ل admit our requests, ِ ب ٱ َ كِ مْ س ٱ ال ِ مَ ظْ ع ٱ ال ِ مَ ظْ ع ٱ ال ِّ َل ج ٱ ال ِ مَ رْ ك in the name of Your Name, the Greatest, the Greatest, the Loftiest, the Most Honored ٱ َّ ل ٰىَ لَ ع ُ هَ تْ عَ ضَ و ِي ذ ٱ َّ لن َا ف ِ رَا ه َ ءَا ض that You put on daylight and it thus lit up ٰىَ لَ عَ و ٱ َّ لل َا ف ِ لْ ي َ مَ لْ ظ and You put on night and it thus darkened, َ و ٱ ُ مَ لْ عَ ن ال َا مَ و َّا ِن م ُ مَ لْ عَ ت َا م َا نَ ل ْ رِ فْ غ forgive us all that which You know about us and all that which we do not know,
- 56. Amaal for Month of Rajab 56 َ و ٱ َ نِ م َا نْ مِ صْ ع ٱ ُّ لذ َ رْ يَ خ ِ بُو ن ٱ ِ مَ صِ عْ ل protect us against sins with the best of protection, َ و ٱ ِ رَ دَ ق َ يِ فَا وَ ك َا نِ فْ ك َ ك save us against the acts that You predetermine, َ و ٱ َ كِ رَ ظَ ن ِ نْ سُ حِ ب َا نْ يَ لَ ع ْ نُ نْ م bestow upon us with Your superb looking, َ كِ رْ يَ غ ٰىَ لإ َا نْ لِ كَ ت َ الَ و do not leave us in the hands of anyone other than You, َ كِ رْ يَ خ ْ نِ م َا نْ عَ نْ مَ ت َ الَ و do not prevent us from Your goodness, ا ْ نِ م َا نَ ل ُ هَ تْ بَ تَ ك َا مِي ف َا نَ ل ْ كِ رَا بَ و َا نِ رَا مْ ع
- 57. Amaal for Month of Rajab 57 bless us during the age that You have decided for us, َا و ا َ ةَ ئِي بَ خ َا نَ ل ْ حِ لْ ص َا نِ رَا رْ س make righteous for us our inner selves, َا و َ كْ نِ م َا نِ طْ ع ٱ ال َ نَا م grant us Your security, َ و ٱ ِ نْ سُ حِ ب َا نْ لِ مْ عَ تْ س ٱ ِ ل ي ـ ِ نَا م make us enjoy perfect faith, ِّ َل بَ و َ رْ هَ ش َا نْ غ ٱ ِّ لص ِ مَا ي and make us catch the month of fasting َ نِ م ُ هَ دْ عَ ب َا مَ و ٱ ال َ و ِ مَّا ي ٱ ال ِ مَا وْ ع and the days and years coming after, َا ذ َا ي َ ٱ َ و ِ لَل جْ ل ٱ ِ ل ِ مَا رْ ك O Lord of Majesty and Honor!

Amaal for Month of Rajab 59 Dua Allahumma Inni Asaluka Bil- Mawloodain Shaykh al-Tusi has also narrated that a document signed by Imam al-Mahdi (atfs) was received by Shaykh Abu’l- Qasim, Imam al-Mahdi’s representative, comprising that the following supplicatory prayer would be recommendably said in the month of Rajab: ِّ إن َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا ا ي ْا س ِ ب َ كُ ل ٱ ٍ بَ جَ ر ِي ف ِ نْ يَ دُو لْ وَ مْ ل O Allah, I beseech You in the name of those who were born in Rajab, َّ َم حُ م ٍّ ِي لَ ع ِ نْ ب ِ د ٱ ِي نَّا لث Muhammad ibn `Alee the second
- 60. Amaal for Month of Rajab 60 َ و ٱ ٍّ ِي لَ ع ِ هِ نْ ب َّ َم حُ م ِ نْ ب ٍ د ٱ ِ بَ جَ تْ نُ مْ ل and his son `Alee ibn Muhammad the divinely selected; َا و َّ َر قَ ت ِ إ َا مِ هِ ب ُ ب َ رْ يَ خ َ كْ يَ ل ٱ ِ بَ رُ قْ ل I seek nearness to You through both of them for they are the best means of nearness to You. ِ إ ْ نَ م َا ي ِ هْ يَ ل ٱ َ بِ لُ ط ُ فُو رْ عَ مْ ل O He from Whom favors are sought َ بِ غُ ر ِ هْ يَ دَ ل َا مِي فَ و and what He possesses is desired! ا ْا س ٍ بِ نْ ذُ م ٍ فِ رَ تْ قُ م َ لَا ؤُ س َ كُ ل I beseech You with the entreaty of him ا ْ دَ ق ُ هُ بُو نُ ذ ُ هْ تَ قَ بْ و whom is enchained by his sins
- 61. Amaal for Month of Rajab 61 َا و ُ هُ بُو يُ ع ُ هْ تَ قَ ثْ و and is bound by his defects; ٰىَ لَ ع َ لَا طَ ف ٱ ُ هُ بُو ؤُ د َا يَا طَ خْ ل therefore, he devoted himself to offenses, َ نِ مَ و ٱ َّ لر ُ هُ بُو طُ خ َا يَا ز and disasters have attacked him heavily. ْا سَ ي َ كُ ل ٱ َّ لت َ ةَ بْ و He is now begging You for accepting his repentance, َ نْ سُ حَ و ٱ ال ِ ةَ بْ و good return from You, َ و ٱ ُّ لن ِ نَ ع َ عُو ز ٱ ِ ةَ بْ وَ حْ ل redeeming from punishment,
- 62. Amaal for Month of Rajab 62 َ نِ مَ و ٱ ِ هِ تَ بَ قَ ر َ كَا كَ ف ِ رَّا لن releasing from Hellfire, َ و ٱ ِ هِ تَ قْ بِ ر ِي ف َّا َم ع َ وْ فَ عْ ل and overlooking the sins that are hanged to him. َا ف َ الْ وَ م َ تْ ن ا َ ي ا ُ مَ ظْ ع ِ هِ تَ قِ ثَ و ِ هِ لَ م Certainly, You, O my Master, the greatest of all hopes and desires he has. َا و َّ ُم هَّ َلل ا ْا س َ كِ لِ ئَا سَ مِ ب َ كُ ل ٱ َّ لش ِ ةَ فِي ر O Allah, I beg You in the name of the holy means that You admit َ كِ لِ ئَا سَ وَ و ٱ ِ ةَ فِي نُ مْ ل and all of the elevated courses that take to You
- 63. Amaal for Month of Rajab 63 ا َّ َم غَ تَ ت ْ ن َا ذٰه ِي ف ِي نَ د ٱ َّ لش َ كْ نِ م ٍ ةَ مْ حَ رِ ب ِ رْ ه ٍ ةَ عِ سَا و to encompass me, in this month, with vast mercy of You, ٍ ةَ عِ زَا و ٍ ةَ مْ عِ نَ و abundant favors, ٍ ةَ عِ نَا ق َا هَ تْ قَ زَ ر َا مِ ب ٍ سْ فَ نَ و and satisfaction with what You have decided for me ِ إ ِ لُو زُ ن ٰىَ ل ٱ ِ ةَ رِ فَا حْ ل until I am put in my final hole, ِّ َل حَ مَ و ٱ ِ ةَ رِ خآل which is my abode to the Hereafter ِ إ َ يِ ه َا مَ و ٌ ةَ رِ ئَا ص ِ هْ يَ ل
- 64. Amaal for Month of Rajab 64 and the Final Fate.
- 65. Amaal for Month of Rajab 65 First Night of Month of Rajab It is highly advisable to take a Ghusl on the first night of Rajab. In this respect, some scholars have reported the Holy Prophet (saws) as saying, “Whoever receives the month of Rajab and bathes himself in the first, middle, and last of it, will be released from all of his sins to return as pure as the day of his birth.” Duas to be recited on sighting the new moon َّ الل َّ ُم ه ا َّ ِل ه ُ ه ِ ب َا نْ يَ لَ ع ٱ ال َ و ِ نْ م ٱ ِ ل ي ـ ِ نَا م O Allah, cause it (i.e. the moon) to appear carrying for us security, faith,
- 66. Amaal for Month of Rajab 66 َ و ٱ َّ لس َ ل َ و ِ ةَ م ٱ ِ ل َ لْ س ِ م safety, and Islam. ِّ َب ر ُّ َب رَ و ي َ ك ٱ َّ َز ع ُ هَّ لل َّ َل جَ و Your and my Lord is Allah, the Glorified and Majestic. It has been also reported that when his eyes fell on the new moon of Rajab, the Holy Prophet (saws) used to say the following: َّ الل َّ ُم ه َ نَا بْ عَ شَ و ٍ بَ جَ ر ِي ف َا نَ ل ْ كِ رَا ب O Allah, (please do) pour out Your blessings upon us in Rajab and Sha`ban. ِّ َل بَ و َ نَا ضَ مَ ر َ رْ هَ ش َا نْ غ
- 67. Amaal for Month of Rajab 67 make us catch Ramadan, َا و ٰىَ لَ ع َّا ِن ع ٱ ِّ لص ِ مَا ي and help us observe fasting, َ و ٱ ِ مَا يِ قْ ل do acts of worship, ِ ظْ فِ حَ و ٱ ِّ لل ِ نَا س suppress our tongues (from saying anything improper), ِّ َض غَ و ٱ ِ رَ صَ بْ ل and cast down our eyes (against what is forbidden for us to look at). َّ َظ ح ْ لَ عْ جَ ت َ الَ و ُ هْ نِ م َا ن ٱ َ و َ عُو جْ ل ٱ َ شَ طَ عْ ل Do not make our share of Ramadan is only hunger and thirst.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 68 Salaah’s for the 1st Night of Rajab • It is recommended to offer, after the obligatory Maghrib Prayer, a 20 unit prayer and to recite in each unit Surah al-Fatihah once and Surah al- Tawheed once. Whoever offers this prayer, his family members, property, sons, and he will be kept saved from harm, rescued against the grave torture, and pass the Sirat as swiftly as lightning without being called to account. • After the `Isha' Prayer, it is recommended to offer a two unit prayer in the first unit of which Surah al-Fatihah should be recited once, Surah al-Inshirah (No. 94)
- 69. Amaal for Month of Rajab 69 recited once, and Surah al-Tawheed recited three times. In the second unit, Surahs al-Fatihah, al-Inshirah, al-Tawheed, al-Falaq, and al-Nas should be recited once each. After tasleem, the following litany should be repeated thirty times: ِ إ ال ٰل َّ ِال إ َ ه ٱ ُ هَّ لل There is no god save Allah. Then repeat thirty times: َّ الل َّ ُم ه ِّ َل ص َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع َّ َم حُ م ِ لَآ و ٍ د ٍ د O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad. The reward of this prayer is that whoever offers it, will have all his sins forgiven and will return as sin-free as the
- 70. Amaal for Month of Rajab 70 day of his birth. • It is recommended to offer a thirty unit prayer in each unit Surah al- Fatihah is recited once, Surah al- Kafirun (No. 109) recited once, and Surah al-Tawheed repeated three times.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 71 Dua to be recited after Isha Prayer on the 1st Night of Rajab Imam Abu-Ja`far II (as) is reported to have recommended saying this the following supplicatory prayer at the first night of Rajab after the `Isha' Prayer: َّ الل َّ ُم ه ِّ إن ا ي ْا س َ كُ ل ِا ب َّ ن ٌ كِ لَ م َ ك O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your being the King, َا و َّ ن ِّ ُل ك ٰىَ لَ ع َ ك ٌ رِ دَ تْ قُ م ٍ ءْ يَ ش having absolute power over all things, َا و َّ ن ا ْ نِ م ُ ءَا شَ ت َا م َ ك ُ نُو كَ ي ٍ رْ م and whatever matter You want to happen shall happen.
- 72. Amaal for Month of Rajab 72 َّ الل َّ ُم ه ِ إ ِّ ن ا ي َّ َج وَ ت ِ إ ُ ه ِّ ِي بَ نِ ب َ كْ يَ ل َّ َم حُ م َ ك ٍ د O Allah, I turn my face towards You asking You in the name of Your Prophet, Muhammad, ِّ ِي بَ ن ٱ َّ لر ٰىَّ َل ص ِ ةَ مْ ح ٱ ِ هِ لَآ و ِ هْ يَ لَ ع ُ هَّ لل the Prophet of mercy—may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household. َّ َم حُ م َا ي ُ د O Muhammad! َ لُو سَ ر َا ي ِ هَّ ٱلل O Messenger of Allah! ِ إ ِّ ن ا ي َّ َج وَ ت ِ إ َ كِ ب ُ ه ٰىَ ل ِ هَّ ٱلل ِّ َب ر ِّ َب رَ و َ ك ي I seek Your intercession for me with Allah, your and my Lord,
- 73. Amaal for Month of Rajab 73 ِي تَ بِ لَ ط َ كِ ب ِي ل َ حِ جْ نُ يِ ل so that He may respond to my request. َّ الل َّ ُم ه ِّ ِي بَ نِ ب َّ َم حُ م َ ك ٍ د O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your Prophet Muhammad َ و ٱ ال َّ ِم ئ ا ْ نِ م ِ ة ِ هِ تْ يَ ب ِ لْ ه and the Imams from his household, ٰىَّ َل ص ٱ ْ مِ هْ يَ لَ عَ و ِ هْ يَ لَ ع ُ هَّ لل peace be upon him and them, ا ِي تَ بِ لَ ط ْ حِ جْ ن to respond to my request. You may then mention your requests.
- 74. Amaal for Month of Rajab 74 Dua After Salat Layl on the 1st Night of Rajab Ali ibn Hadid has narrated that Imam Musa ibn Ja`far (as) used to say the following supplicatory prayer while prostrating after the accomplishment of the Night Prayer (Salaat al-Layl): َ ل َ ك ٱ ِ إ ُ ةَ دَ مْ حَ مْ ل ا ْ ن َ كُ تْ عَ ط [O Allah,] If I obey You, then thanks to You, َ كَ لَ و ٱ َّ ُج حْ ل ِ إ ُ ة َ كُ تْ يَ صَ ع ْ ن and if I disobey You, then You have the right (to punish me). َ ال ِ إ ِي ف ِي رْ يَ غِ ل َ الَ و ِي ل َ عْ نُ ص َ كِ ب َّ ِال إ ٍ نَا سْ ح
- 75. Amaal for Month of Rajab 75 All favors that are done to me or to anyone else must come from You. ِّ ُل ك َ لْ بَ ق ِنًا ئَا ك َا ي ٍ ءْ يَ ش O He Who existed before all things! ِّ َو كُ م َا يَ و ِّ ُل ك َ ن ٍ ءْ يَ ش O Author of all things! ِ إ َّ ن ِّ ُل ك ٰىَ لَ ع َ ك ٌ رِي دَ ق ٍ ءْ يَ ش Verily, You have power over all things. َّ الل َّ ُم ه ِ إ ِّ ن ا ي َ نِ م َ كِ ب ُ ذُو ع ٱ َ دْ نِ ع ِ ةَ لِي دَ عْ ل ٱ ِ تْ وَ مْ ل O Allah, I seek Your protection against deviation at (the hour of) death, ِّ َر ش ْ نِ مَ و ٱ ِي ف ِ عِ جْ رَ مْ ل ٱ ِ رُو بُ قْ ل evil recourse in the grave,
- 76. Amaal for Month of Rajab 76 َ نِ مَ و ٱ َّ لن َ مْ وَ ي ِ ةَ مَا د ٱ ِ ةَ فِ زآل and regret on the Day of the approaching doom. َا ف ْا س ا َ كُ ل ِّ َل صُ ت ْ ن َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع َ ي ِ لَآ و ٍ د َّ َم حُ م ٍ د I therefore beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad َا و َّ ِي قَ ن ً ةَ شِي ع ِي شْ يَ ع َ لَ عْ جَ ت ْ ن ً ة and to make my life wholesome, ِي تَ تْ يِ مَ و َّ ِي وَ س ً ةَ تِي م ً ة my death sound, ِيمًا رَ ك َبًا لَ قْ نُ م ِي بَ لَ قْ نُ مَ و and my resort honorable;
- 77. Amaal for Month of Rajab 77 ٍ حِ ضَا ف َ الَ و ٍ زْ خُ م َ رْ يَ غ neither disgraceful nor scandalous. َّ الل َّ ُم ه ِّ َل ص َّ َم حُ م ٰىَ لَ ع ِ هِ لَآ و ٍ د O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household; ٱ ال َّ ِم ئ ِ عِي بَا نَ ي ِ ة ٱ ِ ةَ مْ كِ حْ ل the Imams, the sources of wisdom, َ و ا ِي لْ و ٱ ِّ لن ِ ةَ مْ ع the causes of bliss, ِ نِ دَا عَ مَ و ٱ ِ ةَ مْ صِ عْ ل and the essences of immaculacy, َ و ٱ ِّ ُل ك ْ نِ م ْ مِ هِ ب ِي نْ مِ صْ ع ٍ ءُو س and protect me, in their name, against all evils,
- 78. Amaal for Month of Rajab 78 َ ت َ الَ و ا َّ ِر غ ٰىَ لَ ع ِي نْ ذُ خ ٍ ةَ لْ فَ غ ٰىَ لَ ع َ الَ و ٍ ة do not seize me unexpectedly or inattentively, ا َ بِ قَا وَ ع ْ لَ عْ جَ ت َ الَ و ً ةَ رْ سَ ح ِي لَا مْ ع do not allow my end result to be regretful, َ و ٱ ِّ َن ع َ ضْ ر ي and be pleased with me, ِ إَ ف َّ ن َا و َ نِي مِ لَّا ِلظ ل َ كَ تَ رِ فْ غَ م َ نِ م َا ن ٱ َ نِي مِ لَّا لظ for Your forgiveness is dedicated to the wrongdoers, and I am one of these wrongdoers. َّ ُم هَّ الل ٱ ال َا م ِي ل ْ رِ فْ غ َ َ ُّ ُر ضَ ي َ ك O Allah, (please do) forgive me (my faults) which do not harm You
- 79. Amaal for Month of Rajab 79 َا و َا م ِي نِ طْ ع َ ال َ كُ صُ قْ نَ ي and give me from that which does not cause decrease to You. ِ إَ ف َّ ن َ ك ٱ ُ هُ تَ مْ حَ ر ُ عِي سَ وْ ل Verily, You are the One Whose mercy is all-embracing ٱ ُ هُ تَ مْ كِ ح ُ عِي دَ بْ ل and Whose wisdom is all-excellent. َا و ِي نِ طْ ع ٱ َّ لس َ و َ ةَ ع ٱ َّ لد َ ةَ ع (Please do) grant me opulence, comfort, َ و ٱ ال َ و َ نْ م ٱ ِّ لص َّ ح َ ة security, health, َ و ٱ ُّ ْن ل َ و َ عُو ج ٱ َ عُو نُ قْ ل wholesomeness, contentment,
- 80. Amaal for Month of Rajab 80 َ و ٱ ُّ لش َ و َ رْ ك ٱ َ و َ ةَا فَا عُ مْ ل ٱ َّ لت ٰىَ وْ ق thanksgiving, good health, piety, َ و ٱ َّ لص َ و َ رْ ب ٱ ِّ لص َ قْ د ا ٰىَ لَ عَ و َ كْ يَ لَ ع َ كِ ئَا يِ لْ و patience, belief in You and Your Saints, َ و ٱ َ و َ رْ سُ يْ ل ٱ َّ لش َ رْ ك affluence, and thanksgiving. َا و ٰذِ ب ْ مِ مْ ع َا ي َ كِ ل ِّ َب ر ا ِي دَ لَ وَ و ِي لْ ه (Please do) include, O my Lord, with this (request) my family members (or my wife), my sons, ِ إَ و َ كِي ف ِي نَا وْ خ and my brethren-in-faith ا ْ نَ مَ و َا و ُ تْ بَ بْ ح َّ َب ح ِي ن
- 81. Amaal for Month of Rajab 81 as well as all those whom I love and those who love me ِي نَ دَ لَ وَ و ُ تْ دَ لَ وَ و and my offspring and all my fathers and mothers َ نِ م ٱ َ و َ نِي مِ لْ سُ مْ ل ٱ َ نِي نِ مْ ؤُ مْ ل among the Muslims and the believers, َّ َب رَا ي ٱ َ نِي مَ لَا عْ ل O Lord of the worlds!
- 82. Amaal for Month of Rajab 82 Dua to be recited before Salaat Witr Ibn Ashyam says: It is advisable to say this supplicatory prayer after offering the eight-unit Salaat-Layl (Night Prayer) and before offering the three-unit Salaat- Witr. ِ هَّ ِل ل ُ دْ مَ حْ لا َّذي َل ا َ ال ُ هُ نِ ئَا زَ خ ُ دَ فْ نَ ت All praise be to Allah Whose treasures are inexhaustible ُ هُ نِ مآ ُ فَا خَ ي َ الَ و and those whom are secured by Him shall never fear anything. ِّ َب ر ِ إ ِ ن ٱ ُ تْ بَ كَ تْ ر ٱ َ يِ صَا عَ مْ ل O my Lord, as I have committed acts of disobedience to You,
- 83. Amaal for Month of Rajab 83 ِّ ِن م ٌ ةَ قِ ث َ كِ لٰذَ ف َ كِ مَ رَ كِ ب ي this was only out of my full confidence in Your generosity. ِ إ َّ ن ُ لَ بْ قَ ت َ ك ٱ َّ لت َ كِ دَا بِ ع ْ نَ ع َ ةَ بْ و Verily, You accept the repentance of Your servants, ِّ َي س ْ نَ ع ُو فْ عَ تَ و ْ مِ هِ تَا ئ pardon their wrongdoings, ُ رِ فْ غَ تَ و ٱ َّ لز َ لَ ل and forgive their flaws. ِ إَ و َّ ن َ ك َ كِي عَا دِ ل ٌ بِي جُ م You verily respond to one who prays You, ٌ بِي رَ ق ُ هْ نِ مَ و

Amaal for Month of Rajab 84 and You are close to him. َا و ِ إ ٌ بِ ئَا ت َا ن َ نِ م َ كْ يَ ل ٱ َا يَا طَ خْ ل I am repenting before You from my sins ِ إ ٌ بِ غَا رَ و ِّ َظ ح ِ رِي فْ وَ ت ِي ف َ كْ يَ ل َ نِ م ي ٱ َا يَا طَ عْ ل and from You do I desire for a good portion of Your donations. َ قِ لَا خ َا ي ٱ َا يَا رَ بْ ل O Creator of all beings! ِّ ُل ك ْ نِ م ِي ذِ قْ نُ م َا ي ٍ ةَ دِي دَ ش O my Redeemer from all hardships! ِّ ُل ك ْ نِ م ِي رِي جُ م َا ي ٍ رُو ذْ حَ م O my Rescuer from all perils! ِّ َف و َّ َي لَ ع ْ ر ٱ ُّ لس َ رُو ر
- 85. Amaal for Month of Rajab 85 (Please do) confer upon me with pleasure َ و ٱ ِي نِ فْ ك َّ َر ش ِ بِ قَا وَ ع ٱ ال ِ رُو م and save me from the evil end results of matters. َا ف َ تْ ن ٱ َ كِ ئَا طَ ع ِ لِي زَ جَ و َ كِ ئَا مْ عَ ن ٰىَ لَ ع ُ هَّ لل ٌ رَشكو م Verily, You are Allah the thanked for Your bounties and affluent gifts ٌ رُو خَذ م ٍ رَي خ ِّ ُل كِ لَ و and hoped for all good things.
- 86. Amaal for Month of Rajab 86 First Day of the Month of Rajab It is advisable to observe fasting on this day. According to narrations, Prophet Noah (`a) embarked on the Ark on such a day; he therefore ordered his companions to observe fasting. Hence, whoever observes fasting on this day; Hellfire will move away from him for a distance of one year walking. Taking a Ghusl is also advisable on this day.

Amaal for Month of Rajab 87 Long Dua for Day of 1st Rajab It is recommended to recite this supplication, for this day, that is mentioned in the book of ‘Iqbal al- A`maal’: َّ َلل ا ِّ إن َّ ُم ه ُ هللا يا َ كُ لْأ سأ ي ُ هللا يا ُ هللا يا ، O Allah: I verily beseech You, O Allah; O Allah; O Allah; ُ هللا َ تْ نأ َ قال ُ مدي َ زاأل ِ ل ُّ ي ْ لا َ م ِ ل ِ ك َ عال ِ مظي ، You are Allah; the Eternal, Whose Great Kingdom is everlasting. ُ هللا َ تْ نأ َ حال ُّ ي َ قال ُّ ي ُ مو ْ لا َ م ْ و َّ الس لى ُ عمي َ بال ُ رصي ،

Amaal for Month of Rajab 88 You are Allah; the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting, the Master, the All- hearing, and the All-seeing. َ م يا ِ ن ِ عال ُّ ز َ و َ جال ُ لل ، O He to Whose Godhead, might and majesty َ و ِ كال ْ ب ِ ر ُ ءيا َ و َ عال َ ظ َ م ُ ة ، And grandeur and greatness َ و ُ قال َّ و ُ ة َ و ِ عال ْ ل ُ م َ و ُ قال ْ د َ ر ُ ة ، And power and knowledge and potency َ و ُّ الن ُ رو َ و ُّ الر ُ حو ، And light and spirit َ و ْ لا َ م شي َ ئ ُ ة َ و َ حال ُ ننا َ و َّ الر ْ ح َ م ُ ة َ و ُ مال ْ ل ُ ك ِ ل ُ ر ِ ببو َّ ي ِ ت ِ ه ،
- 89. Amaal for Month of Rajab 89 And volition and tenderness and mercy and lordship—all these belong to His Godhead. ُ رنو َ ك ْ شأ َ ر َ ق َ ل ُ ه ُ ك ُّ ل ٍ رنو ، To Your light, all lights glowed; َ و َ خ َ م َ د َ ل ُ ه ُ ك ُّ ل ٍ رنا ، And all fires abated; ْ نوا َ ح َ ص َ ر َ ل ُ ه ُ ك ُّ ل ُّ الظ ُ ل ِ تما . And all darkness submitted. ْ سبا َ كُ لْأ سأ ِ م َ ك ِ م ُ هَ تْ قَ قَ تْ شا َّذي ال ْ ن ِ ق َ د ِ م َ ك َ و َ زأ ِ ل َ ك َ و ِ رنو َ ك ، I beseech You by Your Name that You derived from You eternity and infinity and light; َ و ْ سبال ِ م ْ عاأل َ ظ ِ م ِ م ُ هَ تْ قَ قَ تْ شا َّذي ال ْ ن
- 90. Amaal for Month of Rajab 90 ِ ك ْ ب ِ ر ِ ئيا َ ك َ و َ ج َ ب ِ ترو َ ك َ و َ ع َ ظ َ م ِ ت َ ك َ و ِ ع ِّ ز َ ك ، And by the Grandest Name that You derived from Your grandeur and omnipotence and greatness and might; َ و ِ ب ُ ج ِ دو َ ك ِ م ُ هَ تْ قَ قَ تْ شا َّذي ال ْ ن َ ر ْ ح َ م ِ ت َ ك ، And by Your magnanimity that You derived from Your mercy; َ و ِ ب َ ر ْ ح َ م ِ ت َ ك َّ ال ْ شا تي َ ت َ ق ْ ق َ ت ِ م ها ْ ن َ ر َ فأ ِ ت َ ك ، And by Your mercy that You derived from Your clemency; َ و ِ ب َ ر َ فأ ِ ت َ ك َّ ال ْ شا تي َ ت َ ق ْ ق َ ت ِ م ها ْ ن ِ دجو َ ك ، And by Your clemency that You derived from Your magnanimity; َ و ِ ب ِ دجو َ ك ِ م ُ هَ تْ قَ قَ تْ شا َّذي ال ْ ن َ غ ْ ي ِ ب َ ك ،
- 91. Amaal for Month of Rajab 91 And by Your magnanimity that You derived from Your knowledge of the unseen; َ و ِ ب َ غ ْ ي ِ ب َ ك َ و َ طإحا ِ ت َ ك َ و ِ ق ِ ميا َ ك َ و َ د ِ موا َ ك َ و ِ ق َ د ِ م َ ك . And by Your knowledge of the unseen, and Your comprehension of all things, and Your subsistence, and Your perpetuity, and Your eternity. َ و ِ ب َ كُ لْأ سأ َ ج ِ م ِ عي ْ سأ ِ ئما َ ك ْ لا ُ ح ْ س نى And I beseech You by all of Your Most Excellent Names. َ لإ ال َ ه ّ الإ ِ حالوا َ تْ نأ ُ د َ حاأل ُ د َ فال ْ ر ُ د َّ الص َ م ُ د َ حال ُّ ي ،
- 92. Amaal for Month of Rajab 92 There is no god save You; the One, the One and Only, the Unique, the Besought of all, the Ever-living, َّ األو ُ ل اآل ِ خ ُ ر ّ ظال ِ ها ُ ر ِ طالبا ُ ن ، The Foremost of all things, the Last, the Evident, the Immanent. َ و َ ل َ ك ُ ك ُّ ل ْ سا ٍ م َ ع ٍ مظي ، To You do belong all great names, َ و ُ ك ُّ ل ٍ رنو َ و َ غ ْ ي ٍ ب ، And all lights and unseen things, َ و ِ ع ْ ل ٍ م َ و َ م ْ ع ٍ ملو ، And all knowledge and all known things, َ و ُ م ْ ل ٍ ك َ و َ ش ٍ نأ ، And all kingdoms and all affairs.
- 93. Amaal for Month of Rajab 93 َ و ِ ب َ لإ ل َ ه ّ الإ َ ت َ تْ نأ َ ق َّ د ْ س َ ت َ و َ ت َ لعا ْ ي َ ت ُ ع ُ ل ّ و ًا َ ك بيرًا . And due to that there is no god save You, You have been Holy and Elevated in high exaltation. ِ ب َ كُ لْأ سأ ّي نإ َّ ُم هّ لَل ا ُ ك ِّ ل ْ سا ٍ م ُ ه َ و َ ل َ ك ِ هطا ٌ ر ُ م َ ط َّ ه ٌ ر ، O Allah: I beseech You by all names that are Yours; names that are pure and immaculate َ ط ِّ ي ٌ ب ُ م َ ربا ٌ ك ُ م َ ق َّ د ٌ س ، And wholesome and blessed and holy; ْ نأ َ ز ْ ل َ ت ُ ه ُ ك في ُ ت ِ ب َ ك َ و ْ جأ َ ر ْ ي َ ت ُ ه ِّ الذ في ْ ك ِ ر ِ ع ْ ن َ د َ ك ،

Amaal for Month of Rajab 94 Whether You revealed in Your Books, or You added to the Reminder that You keep, َ و َ ت َ س َّ م ْ ي َ ت ِ ب ِ ه ِ ل َ م ْ ن ِ ش ْ ئ َ ت ِ م ْ ن َ خ ْ ل ِ ق َ ك Or You used it with any of Your creatures that You willed ْ وأ َ س َ لأ َ ك ِ ب ِ ه َ حأ ٌ د ِ م ْ ن َ م ِ ئل َ ك ِ ت َ ك َ و ْ نأ ِ ب ِ ئيا َ ك َ و ُ ر ُ س ِ ل َ ك ِ ب َ خ ْ ي ٍ ر ُ ت ْ ع ِ هطي َ ف ْ عأ َ ط ْ ي َ ت ُ ه ، Or by which any of Your angels or Prophets and Messengers besought You for granting him a welfare, and You did, ْ وأ َ ش ٍّ ر َ ت ْ ص ِ ر ُ ف ُ ه َ ف َ ص َ ر ْ ف َ ت ُ ه ، Or for saving him from an evil, and You did, َ ي ْ ن َ ب ْ نأ غي َ لْأ سأ ِ ب َ ك ِ ه .

Amaal for Month of Rajab 95 And I thus should beseech You by that name. َ ر يا َ كُ لْأ سفأ ِّ ب ْ نأ َ ت ْ ن ُ ص َ ر َ ع ني ْ عأ لى دائي َ و َ ت ْ غ ِ ل َ ب ِ ذ ْ ك َ ع ري ِ ن لى ْ س ،ياني Hence, I beseech You, O my Lord, to give me victory over my enemies and make my perception overcome my oblivion. َّ ُم هّ لَل ا إ ْ ج َ ع ْ ل ِ ل َ ع ْ ق َ ع لي َ ه لى َ يوا ُ س ْ ل طانًا ُ م بينًا ، O Allah: (please) give my intellect a manifest proof against my lusts, َ و إ ْ ق ِ ر ْ ن ْ خا ِ ت ِ ب ياري َّ الت ْ و ِ قفي ، And attach my choices to appositeness, و إ ْ ج َ ع ْ ل ِ حصا َّ الت بي ْ ق ،وى
- 96. Amaal for Month of Rajab 96 And decide piety to be my companion, َ و ْ وأ ِ ز ْ ع ُ ش ني ْ ك َ ر َ ك َ ع َ م لى ِ هوا ِ ب َ ك . And arouse me to thank You for Your gifts, ْ هوا ِ ب َّ ُم هّ لَل ا دني ُ ه َ كدا َ س إلى ِ لبي َ ك ُ مال ِ ق ِ مي َ و ِ ص ِ طرا َ ك ُ مال ْ س ِ ت ِ مقي ، And, O Allah; guide me through Your true guidance to Your straight course and Your right path. َ و َ ت ال ْ م ِ ل ْ ك ِ ز َّ الش مامي َ ه ُ توا َ ف َ ت ْ ح ِ م ُ ل ني َ ع َ ط لى ِ قري ْ لا َ م ْ خ َ نذولي ، And do not make desires control over me and thus take me to the way of the disappointed ones, َ و ُ ح ْ ل َ ب ْ ي َ و ني َ ب ْ ي َ ن ُ مال ْ ن َ ك ِ ترا ،

Amaal for Month of Rajab 97 And intervene between me and the forbidden things, َ و ْ جا َ ع ْ ل ِ ع لي ْ ل مًا ِ فنا عًا ، And decide for me advantageous knowledge, َ و ْ غأ ِ ر ْ س َ ق في ُ ح لبي َّ ب ْ لا َ م ْ ع ِ فرو َ و ال َ ت ُ خأ ْ ذ َ ب ني ْ غ َ ت ً ة ، And implant in my heart the love for the good; and do not overtake me all of a sudden, َ و ُ ت ْ ب َ ع َ ل َّ ي َّ إن َ ك َّ الت َ تْ نأ ّ و ُ با َّ الر ُ محي . And accept my repentance; You are verily the Oft-returning to mercy, the Merciful. َ و َ ع ِّ ر ْ ف َ ب ني َ ر َ ك َ ة َّ الش هذا ْ ه ِ ر َ و ُ ي ْ م َ ن ُ ه ،

Amaal for Month of Rajab 98 And (please) acquaint me with the blessing and felicity of this month, َ و ْ را ُ ز ْ ق َ خ ني ْ ي َ ر ُ ه َ و ْ صا ِ ر ْ ف َ ع ّ ن َ ش ي َّ ر ُ ه ، And confer upon me with its good and keep away from me its evil, َ و ِ ق ْ لا ني َ م ْ ح َ رذو ِ هفي ، And protect me against what is peril in it, َ و ِ عأ ّ ن َ ع ي ُ أ ما لى ِ ح ُّ ب ُ ه ِ م َ ن ِ قال ِ ميا ِ ب َ ح ِّ ق ِ ه ، And help me do that which I like from the carrying out if its duty, َ و َ م ْ ع ِ ر َ ف ِ ة َ ف ْ ض ِ ل ِ ه ، And the recognition of its virtue, َ و ْ جا َ ع ْ ل ِ هفي ني ِ م َ ن ِ ئالفا َ نزي ْ رأ يا َ ح َ م ّ رال ِ حا َ نمي .
