Ramadan is the best month of the year according to the Prophet Muhammad. It brings mercy, forgiveness and blessings from Allah. The doors of Paradise are opened and doors of Hell are closed. Demons are chained and good deeds are multiplied many times over. Fasting is especially rewarding - all past sins may be forgiven for those who fast with faith and hope in Allah's reward. The holy Quran was revealed during this month. Spending nights in prayer, such as during Tarawih and Laylat al-Qadr, can also wipe away past sins. Muslims are encouraged to make the most of Ramadan through worship and turning over a new leaf in preparation for the afterlife.

2. “O People! The month of Allah (Ramadan) has come
with its mercies, blessings and forgiveness’s. Allah has
decreed this month the best of all months. The days of
this month are the best among the days and the nights
are the best among the nights and the hours during
Ramadan are the best among the hours”

5. Reward for insincere worship
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings
be upon him, said, “One might fast and he
gets nothing from his fast but hunger. One
might pray at night but he gets nothing
from his prayer but fatigue.”

6. THE REWAR OF FASTING
“Whoever fasted the month of
Ramadan out of sincere Faith
(i.e. belief) and hoping for a
reward from Allah, then all his
past sins will be forgiven.”

7. THE REWAR OF FASTING
Allah said, “Every deed of
the son of Adam is for him,
except fasting; it is for Me,
and I shall reward for it.”

8. “There is a door in Paradise
called Rayyan. Only those who
observe fasting can enter that
door on doomsday, nobody else
can enter with them”

9. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said,
“He who fasts has two joys: a joy when he
breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his
Lord.” “The change in the breath of the mouth
of the one who fasts is sweeter to Allah than the
smell of musk.”
[Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim]

10. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said,
"'Whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer
(Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he
will be forgiven his previous sins, and whoever
spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of
faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven
his previous sins.

“The blessings of praying on
the night of Laylat ul-Qadr is
believed to be better than that of a
thousand months of worship and
devotion.”
