14. 1. Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'an) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)
2. And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is?
3. The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e.
worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand
months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).
4. Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission
with all Decrees,
5. Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing
slaves) until the appearance of dawn.

15. Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
The Sovereign of mankind,
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the retreating whisperer
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind
From among the jinn and mankind

16. Lailatul qadr
I will not serve Allah like a laborer, in expectation of my wages.
O Allah! If I worship You for fear of Hell, burn me in Hell,
and if I worship You in hope of Paradise, exclude me from Paradise.
But if I worship You for Your Own sake, grudge me not Your everlasting Beauty.
O my Lord, whatever share of this world You have bestowed on me, bestow it to
my enemies, and whatever share of the next world You have for me, give it to my
friends. You are enough for me.

FEEL HER FEELINGS / LOVE TO ALLAH!
17. If I repent now will God forgive me?
No, but if God forgives you, you will repent.
He does not refuse sustenance to the one who speaks ill of Him.
How then could He refuse sustenance to the one whose soul is over
flowing with love for Him?
O Beloved of Hearts, I beseech only You. Have pity this day on those
who turn to You. My Hope, my Rest, my Delight, this heart can love
none other but You..

19. We are not Rābiʻah al-ʻAdawīyah, we are not her “level” and maybe can never be and never will.
Still, we should not stop hoping for rewards from Allah. Because Rasulullah ﷺ told us to hope for
reward from Allah. So be humble! Be obedient!
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever spends the night of Laylatul-Qadr in prayer out of faith
and in the hope of reward, will be forgiven his previous sins.”
But take her words to remind us that it is a long road for us, so we should not be satisfied with our
acts of good deeds. And that we should be constant and steadfast in our ibadah and always strive
to increase in our feelings for Allah.
May Allah guide us all always and all ways.

20. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever spends the night of Laylatul-Qadr in prayer out of faith
and in the hope of reward, will be forgiven his previous sins.”
Aa’ishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: I said:
“O Messenger of Allaah, If I know which night is Laylat al-Qadr, what should I say?”
He said: “Say: Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul- ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni (O
Allaah, You are All-Forgiving and You love forgiveness so forgive me).”
“O people! When the great, blessed month (Ramadan) comes to you, do lots of these four acts in it.
Two acts with which you would please your Lord and two acts with which you cannot do
without. As for the two which please your Lord, they are the testimony that there is no God but
Allah and the seeking of His forgiveness. As for the two acts that you cannot do without, you
should seek paradise from your Lord and seek protection from hell fire.”
