Dr. Rafat Saeed is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Plant Genetics and Breeding. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Botany at FUUAST. His research experiences include utilizing organic mulch to help vegetable plants cope with salinity and drought stress. He has also studied salinity tolerance indices in vegetables and using tea leaves and potato peel compost to improve plant growth under saline conditions. In addition to research, he has led youth awareness programs and organized student competitions.
