Bullying is a serious case in all of the world. “Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior
among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance”
(Stopbullying.gov, 2016). This means bullying is any kind of aggression between children or
teens. There are many types of bullying: verbal bullying, social bullying, physical bullying,
and cyberbullying. Verbal bullying contains
anything that has to do with words such as
insulting, shaming, teasing, name calling, etc.
Social bullying is hurting someone reputation or
relationships such as leaving someone out,
spreading rumors, making other people don’t
become friends of someone, etc. Physical
bullying is anything that has to do with physical
aggression such as hitting someone, pushing,
spitting, and making rude gestures
(Stopbullying.gov, 2016). Cyberbullying is
bullying in the internet such as shaming someone
in social media, gossip and rumors,
intimidating someone. (Ncab.org.au, 2016)
“In Ecuador, according to Encuesta Nacional
de la Niñez y la Adolescencia, the 64% of
minors between of 8 to 17 have partisipated
on a fight, 57% said they destroid something
of someone else, and a 64% bully people that
have less age tan them”. (El Universo, 2016)
“The research, by Observatorio de la Niñez y
Adolescencia, says 63% of students bother
other students, 74% insults, and 53% are victims of stealing”. (El Universo, 2016)
