This document summarizes the results of a questionnaire about horror movie viewing habits and preferences among 15-17 year olds. The questionnaire found that slasher films were the most popular subgenre and that jump scares and music/sound were most likely to make people want to see a film. The majority of respondents watch horror films at least once a month and said promotional packages influence their decisions to watch films. However, film magazines are not widely read. Reviews were the most appealing magazine feature. This information will help tailor the promotional package for a slasher film to this target demographic.
