Pabrik-ikon is software for building and managing GNU/Linux icon themes. It was created to simplify the process of converting SVG icon files to PNG format and managing icon theme projects. By automating tasks like recursive SVG to PNG conversion, symbolic link management, and file cleaning, Pabrik-ikon aims to speed up the icon theme development process. The software started as a bash script but is now a Python program that allows importing icon projects from Git repositories or standalone directories and bulk exporting SVG icons to optimized PNG format.

- 1. LOOKING BACK AT YOUR PRELIMINARY TASK, WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE LEARNT IN THE PROGRESSION FROM IT TO THE FULL PRODUCT?
- 2. From my Preliminary task, I have learned more about how to make my front cover look more presentable. I also learned that there is much more behind the editing process. My magazine is more fit to be seen as it includes studio photography, branding, bar code, issue number, pricing, cover lines, website and useful social networking information. • Model looks a bit dull. • No website. • The cover lines are boring which does not attract the audience • Masthead is clearer and more visible • The model is more appealing • Interesting cover lines • The usage of social networks that are associated with the magazine.
- 3. In my preliminary task, I haven’t used the spacing very well and I did not write enough journalism so the pages look very bare and empty which is not attractive to the audience. The layout is unorganised. In my magazine, I have more experience with using the software so I found it easier to place my studio photography images and also place the text so that my pages look presentable.
