The Top Panel provides interactive access to the system including access to the Side Panel, access to existing Map Views, the ability to add new Map Views, the ability to add New Events or to Log Out.
With the Top Panel displayed across the top of the screen, the User can view the Side Panel by clicking on the Side Panel expansion tab.
The Search Function allows Users to type in key words that they would like to look up in the system. There are three (3) areas a search can be performed on; Event, User and VMS. The first word in the search bar needs to be one of those three words, followed by a colon.
The Subscription function shows the User all the items they are receiving notifications for. The (G) represents GUI notifications and the (E) represents Email notifications. The Notification function shows all the GUI alerts received for items the User is subscribed to.
The Map Views function shows all the map views that have been added. Clicking the map view name will move the view to that location. Clicking the pin will make that the default map every time the User logs in. Clicking the X will remove the map view from the list.The Lists function provides links to various lists. If the User clicks a link, it will open a new tab.
The Action Panel shows all of the icons available to the User. View Event Summary icon displays the Summary Information box.
Clicking on the Vehicle Involved Control icon displays the Vehicle Involved Control dialogue box.Clicking on the Event Injuries icon displays the Event Injuries dialogue box.Clicking on the Responder Vehicle icon displays the Responder Vehicle dialogue box.
The User can also enter notes.By clicking on the Plus Sign, the User can add additional Responder Vehicles.Clicking the X on the title bar will close the dialogue box without saving any changes.When all fields for a responder vehicle are complete, the User can save the entry by selecting the Disk icon. The entry can be deleted by selecting the Do Not Save icon. By clicking on the Plus Sign, the User can add additional Responder Vehicles. Once an entry is saved, the User can edit the entry by selecting the Pencil icon. The entry can be deleted by selecting the Trash Can icon.
The Subscription icon is available for confirmed queuing and planned events. Clicking on the Subscription icon displays the Subscription information boxClicking on the Obtain Ownership icon transfers ownership to the User.Clicking on the Release Ownership icon displays the Release Ownership information box.Clicking on the Transfer Ownership icon will show the Transfer Ownership dialogue box.
The information displayed in the View VMS Summary information box includes:Message Sign number.The current status of the sign.The displayed message(s). Note: if there are multiple messages, they will cycle through every 5 seconds.The priority level.The last time the sign was updated.The User that last updated the sign.
