2. I have used a range of different technologieswhilst creating this media product. For example I used a small digital camera and a tripod to take the images. I had only really used a camera for holiday and social snapping so I learnt a lot whilst taking the photos (mainly the don'ts) I played around with the different functions on the digital camera to reduce blur and maximise the clarity of the images. I was unaware of the functions so just had to make mistakes in order to get some great photos for the magazine.
3. I also used indoor lighting for some of the images, this meant that the images had to be brightened; which took a lot of work to make it work. I didn't really know how important lighting would be to make a successful image so getting this to work was hard. I learnt that using synthetic lighting may be more rewarding in the future as you are able to move it around and create better images with less work on them afterwards.
4. I have also learnt a lot about different skills on Photoshop, this is mainly through trial and error. I think that personally I learn best from my mistakes and to play around with software such as Photoshop teaches me skills and was an major part of my production process. I preferred to use the method of trial and error as this way I would learn new skills but also through my own mistakes, develop more of a understanding and know how of the software.
5. I have also become more aware of the amount of technologies and software needed to create the product. I generally thought that making a magazine would be quite easy and the images would be easy to take. However I have realised that a lot of work goes into making the product and the process heavily relies on technology and software
6. I have also learnt a lot about ‘Blogger’ through the course of the coursework. I had never used blogger so it was a learning experience, However I quickly adjusted to adding posts and how to add powerpoints and prezis to the blog so it got a lot easier as I went through.
7. I have also learnt about software such as PowerPoint and prezi as I hardly ever used them before but I really wanted to showcase my ideas in more of a fun and interactive way. I again learnt through trial and error and eventually was able to create some good quality presentations.
