This document discusses the various technologies the student learned to use while creating their magazine project. They learned how to use blogs like Edu blogs to organize and publish their work online including text, images, videos, polls and other files. They also learned how to use InDesign to layout their magazine, including formatting text and objects. Additionally, they learned Photoshop to edit images and Prezi as an alternative to PowerPoint. Other programs explored include PowerPoint, SoundCloud and SlideShare for embedding audio and presentations. Overall, the student gained experience with multiple design, publishing and multimedia tools.

Throughout the process of building my magazine I have learnt to use various
different programmes and types of technology that I wouldn’t usually have
the opportunity to use. However I feel I have used the programmes to my
upmost ability.

3. EDU BLOGS
Throughout the process of working on my magazine I have learnt how organise and use a blog properly. I
am now able to creative pieces of work and post them online for others to see. I can upload text, pictures,
polls, videos, audio, Prezi's and PowerPoints.

4. INDESIGNInDesign was completely new to me at the start of the course. Despite this I come to grips with the software
and am able to use it well. Now I am able to use software to create an original piece of work. Below are

5. PHOTOSHOP
Using Photoshop has taught me how to edit pictures in ways to help portray certain images and pictures in
my magazine. Despite this I found the software hard to use at first as there are so many different things that
you can do. However in the end I got to grips wit the software and could edit my picture to suit the
magazine I wanted to design.

6. PREZI
Joining the course was the reason that I discovered Prezi. Using this was good because you are
essentially able to make a more exciting PowerPoint. The software was simple and easy to use.
The only problem I found was that I couldn’t upload picture to the Prezi. This I don’t think was
because of Prezi or it being complicated but because of the internet connection.

7. POWERPOINT
I was already aware of PowerPoint before the course. However within the course I have been
able to use new things like screen clipping to be able to show how I have used other
programmes. Using the programme was very easy and straight forward.

8. SOUNDCLOUD
I was aware of Soundcloud before coming onto the course. However I wasn’t aware of how to
use it. Within the process of the course I have learnt how to upload audio clips to Soundcloud
and then embed them into my blog.

9. SLIDESHARE
slideshare was new to me. Despite this it was easy to use. I learnt how to upload my PowerPoints
to the internet and them embed them into my blog which was extremely straight forward.
