What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
For this mediaproduct, I useda variety of differenttechnologiessuchasPhotoshop, Eblogger,
Slideshare and digital cameras. The digital cameras whichI have used have taught me how to use
differentsettingswhile experimentingwithphotography.They have also taught me how to
manipulate imagesusing lightingto create differentaffectswithimages,such as flatlightingor a
lightshadow with my images by usingthings such as a reflectorfor the lights.By using the digital
camera, I have taught myselfhowto make my imagesto look more professional andslick. I
experimentedwithdigital photographyseveral timesin cases such as within my preliminarytask,
as well as taking 2 setsof photographs for the constructionof my final product. My knowledge of
usingdigital photography has greatly improvedas it shows in my photographs.
Before creating this mediaproduct, I had neverusedsitessuch as Ebloggerand Slideshare before.
Ebloggeris where I have created a blog to upload my work such as the researchwhich I had done,
up to the final product. I have used Slideshare toupload my work incases such as work
documentsor powerpoints and then copiedthe embedcode onto my blog. From these sites,
firstlyI have learnt how to use a blog and what theyare used for. I had nevercreated a blog
before creating thismedia product, therefore Ihave learnt what blogs can be usedfor, and also
how to upload my documentsonto blogs, how theyoverall work and what Slideshare can be used
for.

improvedas I have now learnt how to manipulate imagesby editingthem,without making them
look overlyedited.I have also taught myselfhow to use websitessuch as ‘DaFont.com’ and use
my chosen texton Photoshop,as my title and coverlinesfont.
I had alsonever usedwebsitessuchas prezi before.I have learntthat Prezi is an interestingand
more updatedway to presentwork rather than Microsoft PowerPoint.I enjoyedPrezi as I have
learnt that there can be more ways to presentwork and the website shows differentwaysand
