Who would be the audience for your media product?

2. PrimaryTargetAudience
The target audience forCyberbully would be largely female due to its dominantly
female cast and female antagonist/protagonist, females are more likely to enjoy
seeing a strong protagonist the same gender as them.The target audience would
be white British due to its reliability within culture and British aspects. Age wise
the target audience would be that over 16 but under 20 due to the violence,
however no older than 20 due to the younger aged characters.This age group
would also enjoy the trilling action and violence used throughout.They would
consume the film primarily throughVOD such as Netflix or LoveFilm. This is due
to the high use of technology within this age range.The target audience must be
into social media due to the heavy amount of it used throughout the film. Sites
such asTumblr, Facebook,Twitter, Snapchat,YouTube and Instagram would be
used. It is likely that our target audience would be isolated similar to the character
of Kyra and Lilly as it would be relatable to young people.

Similar films watched by my target audience would be films similar to Kill Bill, Pulp
Fiction, Sherlock,This Is England and Skins.
Skins would be due to the primarily young teen audience, relating to the age of the
characters of Cyberbully. It also has the reliability aspect due to the British culture and
British viewing of young people, and how reckless they are. Sherlock would be due to the
murder mystery aspect and the Britishness. Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction would be the type of
shots and editing techniques.This is England is due to the similarity with the character of
Lol with the attacking of her father.
