Gratification theory homework

1. Entertainment:
V for vendetta
What makes this film entertains and
interest me as an audience member and
a fan of the comics and movie because of
how it explores the possibility of
England being ran by a far right
political party, the perfectly written plot
that takes some of its main plot points
from real events in the past and because
of how each character is played with
such passion that it entices me to watch
it over and over again. However, I think
the most entertaining pat is watching
the clash of ideologies throughout the
film.

2. Information:
• The movie is very educational because it
introduces the audience to guy Fawkes who
heavily influenced the beliefs of the main
character through his actions in the past
which is seen through how the main
character wears a guy Fawkes mask
throughout the entire movie.
• They are also introduced to the right wing
ideology of which the Norse fire party was
founded upon, this is shown in one of the
main themes of the movie, which is bigotry
which is a main characteristic in most fascist
societies (where they pay attention to the
achievements of one race, in this case it`s
Caucasians, and attacks nearly all other
races)

3. Social interaction:
Godzilla legendary
remake
Many fans of Godzilla king of the monsters (like myself) can interact with each
other because the legendary pictures remake does an excellent job of introducing
new fans to the long running franchise and does an equally good job of catering to
the older fans by adding older and popular monsters from older movies such as
Ghidorah to older movies. Also the crew behind making the movies added more
depth to their remakes by creating a website that shows us the locations of all
their original monster but also some old ones, such as King Kong whose presence
in the upcoming 2020 movie Godzilla vs king Kong will add even more social
interaction to new and old fans.
