This document discusses Prometheus Global Media, a publishing company that distributes Billboard magazine. The author has chosen Prometheus to publish their own R&B-focused magazine because Prometheus is an experienced publisher in the music genre, distributing Billboard which has over 15 million monthly users and a similar target audience to the author's proposed magazine. Both magazines would be released monthly and have similar formal layouts and audience demographics of 16-26 year olds. The author rejects two other potential publishers - one that does no music publishing, and another that publishes different music genres than their magazine.

3. Prometheus Magazine
Billboard magazine is an R&B magazine who publishes about
celebri8es like Drake, Beyoncé, The Weeknd and many more R&B
ar8sts. They are owned and have their magazines distributed by
Prometheus Global Media; who are a massive company with
leading assets in the media and entertainment arenas.

4. What Company have I chosen
to use?
I have decided to use Prometheus as my publishing company
because they are the publishers of Billboard magazine. With
15.2 million users per month, it shows that Prometheus know
what to do and how distribute R&B magazines

5. My magazine & Billboard
The reason I have chosen to use the company that distributes
Billboard magazine is because my magazine is similar to
Billboard.
Billboards target audience is teen and adults aged form 16 to 26 years
old. This is similar to my magazine because we have selected to have
around the same aged target audience. The mise en scene choices and
the layout of the magazines is also very similar to my magazine. Both
our magazine have tried to keep the magazine looking very formal and
simple and not over crowding the page with banners and bright text.
Billboard magazine is released monthly and I have also decided to
release my magazine monthly.

6. Companies I will reject
The first company that I will be rejec8ng is Dennis.
This is magazine publisher. They publish huge
magazines like ‘Men's Fitness’ and ‘The Week’ . The
reason I will be rejec8ng this company is because they
do not publish any music. For this reason I feel like if
Dennis was to publish my magazine, I don’t feel like it
will succeed like it would with Prometheus
This is the second company that I have chosen
to reject. They publish magazines like ‘Classic
Pop’ and ‘Music Tech’. The reason I have
chosen to reject this company is because, even
though they do publish music magazine, they
don’t publish the same style or genre as my
magazine.

• The main source of income will be coming from the monthly
cost of £2.99. I have chosen this price aVer analyzing the
review from the ques8onnaire that I carried out
• Other sources of income will be from adver8sements of my
magazine. Companies will pay my company to have a sec8on
to adver8se their product or a sale. Another source of income
will be from sponsorships. If my magazine gets sponsored,
there will be a flow of income form the company that
sponsored my magazine
