Question 2
1. Question 2 : How does your media product represent particular social groups?
2. Who ? My magazine was targeting an indie audience and not necessarily indie rockers. So this would include people with a rough looking kind of fashion sense yet trendy. They like to be at all the latest and best gigs and out socialising is a big hobby of there's. Also their not the most emotional of people so within the pictures in the magazine you shouldn’t expect to much facial expression.
3. What and why ? What did I do with my magazine to catch this target audience ? The models in my pictures were of my target audience people the audience would understand, say if I used a hip hop gangster as my model the audience would hate it as it would be connoting hip hop rather than their genre 0f music they want to be looking at and listening to the genre of music the magazine should be about .
4. The text was written in a kind of language that the audience would feel comfortable with , so I would use slang that indie fans would use e.g. “doesn’t give a f***” or “Caught your ears on lock” this would really get the audience involved in the magazine. Props e.g. I used a guitar in my photos this is fashion statement within the indie world its what there music is all about.
