3. Question 1
On the first question to this
survey, I have discovered
that 66.6% of people asked
have played GTA 5 whereas
33.3% of people asked have
not. Here we can determine
that the majority of people
asked have indeed
bought/played GTA 5
4. Question 2
On question two asked the
genders of the audience. The
results show that 77.78% of
people who answered the
survey were male and 22.22%
are female.
5. Question 3
On this question, I have found that
the majority of people asked were
between 11-20 years old (77.78%).
One response was from a person
under 10 and one result was from a
person over 61 (both 11.11%). This
could show that the majority of
people who play GTA are teenagers,
however I wuld need to go over
each surveys results individually as
some people might have never
played GTA 5.
6. Question 4
In this question, we can see that a
wide variety of jobs people had have
been accumulated. The majority
belonged to students (22.22%),
however it has only taken the lead
by one person. The rest each make
a statistic of 11.11%
7. Question 5
The majority of people
asked spend between £20-
£40 a month on video
games, making 33.33%.
The next closest wo results
are £60+ and 1p-£20 (
both at 22.22%). We can
see from the graph that
most of the people asked
spend a lot of money on
games, so we could have
found out that they buy a
lot of games a month and
we can see how much
people are willing to spend
on video games. At launch,
GTA 5 was worth £40 and
this graph shows that for
most people, this might
not be a problem to buy.
8. Question 6
On this graph, we can see that
most people who responded live in
the North West, however, I would
need to ask a lot more people to
get proper information for this
question.
9. Question 7
On this graph, the majority of
people who responded are
Caucasian (33.33%). This
could mean that more
Caucasians play the game,
however, I believe this data is
weak as I would needs lots
more responses. There also
seems to be a variety of
ethnicities which is useful as
we could then see if there are
any specific groups who play
GTA 5.
10. Question 8
Here, 6 people would describe
themselves as hard-core
gamers (66.67%). Casual and
Rarely a gamer both got 1
response each (11.11% each).
This could mean that hard-core
gamers are much more likely
to have bought/played GTA 5
than those who are casual or
do not play games very often.
Judging from the first question,
we could establish that there is
a strong chance that the 6
people who have
played/bought GTA 5 are hard-core
gamers.
11. Question 9
This questions was asked to
get a basic response of
what people thought of the
game. We can see that the
Agree/Strongly agree side
of the table has much more
responses. This is good as it
means their opinions of the
game were good, however,
there were two responses
stating that they Strongly
Disagreed with the
statement which means
they must not have liked it.
The Agree/Strongly Agree
side got a total of 62.5%.
The Disagree/ Strongly
Disagree side got a total of
25% and 12.5% of people
neither agreed or disagreed.
12. Question 10
Firstly, we can see that
two people answered
N/A to this question. This
could mean that they are
not gamers and they
have never bought a
game. 55.56% said No
and these 5 people must
have bought games in
the past. Two people
however answered Yes,
which is very useful as
we can gather that GTA
5 may have appealed to
certain new audiences
that may not have been
interested in games. This
is good as GTA 5 must
look attractive to the
audiences.
