2. Looking back at my preliminary task, I feel like I have learned many thing.
It was my first time in 2 years using a Apple Mac computer, it was very different from using
normal dell computer the layout was difficult to understand and they keyboard has
different setting to. (Having the screenshot using Comand-Shift-4).
I have also developed my analysis of text and use of social media.

3. When creating my double page spread, I had to identify all the key features of a
double page spread by looking and comparing other music magazines from
that, I was bale to see that the text was organised in columns indent format
which makes the text look presentable and clearer to read. Also it had the
page numbers on the bottom of the page which was bold and easy to read.
I was able to identify why certain things where on the page and there
functions which helped with the development of my magazine.

designing a certain effect Lighting was another component I
or style to my text. It was found very hard to use, as sometimes
very good when adding I didn’t know where to set it up but
textures and blends. because I knew what I wanted to
look like and what parts I wanted to
be lit I found it easier to use.

5. This was one of the major image manipulation I used when creating my music magazine. As you can see
from the original I took the necklace said ‘YOLO’ looking closely to how I want my music magazine to
look and be presented I thought changing the necklace name to ‘SOLO’ would make my magazine
look creative and stand out more than other music magazines. Photoshop helped me with this process
by filling in the ‘Y’ letter with a red colour and typing a white ‘S’ over it.

6. This is the process you have to do to get
columns on InDesign. The numbers Page width is 210mm, with 20mm outside and 13mm
inserted are the ones I used to make my inside margins, 6 columns.
