2.  Looking back at my prelimary task , I feel like I have learned many things . It was my first time in 2 years using a
Apple Mac computer, it was very different from using a normal Dell computer the layout was difficult to
understand and the key pad to. (Having the screen shot using Comand-shift-4).

 In the first week of media learnt about different media theories:
 Market segmentation
 Target Audience
 Jincars Theory
 I feel from my preliminary task I have learnt how to present my work in different forms using sites such as
Jing, Slideshare, Prezi.
 Upload work on to blog effectively, explain what I have done
 Working independently – using YouTube tutorials on how to using publishing sites such as Photoshop, InDesign
 I felt like I was able to complete my music magazine front cover/ contents page and double page spread to a
high standard because I used it when creating my school magazine. As you can see the images below are of
my school magazine and Music magazines.
 Researched different code and conventions of music magazines (Target audience, Representation, genre) and
was able to conduct my own codes and conventions for my music magazine in order to challenge the media.
 I was able to take my own original photo using a professional camera and upload it to Photoshop – inserting SD
card and importing pictures – open image in Photoshop and using the magic tool erase certain blemishes
