This document discusses the conventions and codes used in real magazines that were applied to the author's media product. Some conventions that were used include a bold logo and bright colors on the cover inspired by We Love Pop magazine. Pink font was used for the masthead, and the word "exposed" was intended to intrigue readers like "uncensored" in We Love Pop. Images were shot in a studio following rules of thirds. Issue numbers, dates and barcodes were included in the bottom right corner. Inside pages used informal text in columns alongside images, and celebrity names were bolded.
