The mast head is large and attracts
a lot of the attention, its large and
stands out.
The tag line is under the mast
head which is generic of any music
magazine that stays with the
magazine.
The artist on the front is the main eye
catcher. The largest image and attracts
the most attention, typical of a music
magazine.
Another pull quote from a feature in
the magazine , this is always included to
entice the target audience.
Along the bottom, as with most
magazines, music or not, there's a
banner with more features advertised.
3. The masthead is used to again , like
in real magazines, to remind the
reader what they're reading.
The features are numbered however
not in chronological order, the main
features.
Again the main model is one of
the standout features to draw
attention to the page.
Another original image I took to add
another feature to the contents page to
fit the generic conventions.
4. The masthead can again be
seen all over the page. This
shows the reader what
they're reading so they
instantly remember.
There is three
columns for the
text used to
replicate how
they do text in
real magazines.
The ‘KEZ’ in the
background is
generic and seen all
the time, this
reminds the reader
of the artist.
The main artist is
shown again, it
shows the reader
the artist so they’ll
remember him for
future reference.
