The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about
service changes that will be effective on Monday,
September 4, 2017.

MEETING FORMAT
Be considerate of meeting attendees and COTA staff – please

Ask one question at a time so the appropriate COTA staff
member may address your comment
Comments and questions are limited to two (2) minutes per

COTA modifies service three times per year – the first
Monday of:
• January
• May
• September
September 2017 changes will take effect on Monday,
September 4, 2017. Holiday service hours will operate on
September 4, as it will be Labor Day.

FARE ADJUSTMENTS
• Fares are evaluated every three years, as described in COTA’s Long-
Range Transit Plan
• Fares were last adjusted on January 1, 2012
• A public comment period will be held, prior to staff making a
recommendation about fare adjustments to the COTA Board of Trustees
• Public meetings will be held in October
• Fare adjustments would go into effect on January 1, 2018
