Local projects update,
The local public works director provided updates on several projects in a report to the city council. A traffic signal cabinet and communication cabinet were knocked down at 6th Street and Main Street on June 22nd, with restoration of the communication cabinet still ongoing. Paving, striping, and traffic signal modifications were completed on Foothill Parkway between I-15 and Teddy Bear Lane through July 14th. The report also included a 2-week look ahead for closures on SR-91, noting the on-ramp from Main Street to eastbound SR-91 is open but the on-ramp to I-15 is anticipated to open in August.

Editor's Notes
- #3 A collision with the Traffic Control Cabinet and TMC Communication Cabinet disabled a significant portion of the City’s traffic signal communication network. This affected the traffic signal coordination and communication with the Animal Shelter.
- #4 The signal cabinet has been fully repaired. The communication cabinet has been replaced, but the internal equipment still needs work and could be down for another 2 weeks. This will have minor impacts with signal coordination along Main Street and Sixth Street in the area. Staff is monitoring these locations until repairs are completed.
- #5 The developer is completing the concrete, asphalt, striping and traffic signal modifications for this length of road over the next two weeks. The next phase of work from Teddy Bear Lane to California is being finalized to advertise for construction soon. The project is anticipated to be complete by November.
- #6 Harrison Sewer Trunk Line starting next week. All work in roadway is scheduled for night work. Sidewalks and ramps during the day. Project scheduled to be complete the first part of September.
- #8 Eastbound On-Ramp from Main Street open to EB 91 Only for now. Anticipate EB On-Ramp to I-15 to be open in August.
- #9 The WB Off-Ramp to Main Street is scheduled to open on July 14th. Night closures of the WB On-Ramp from Main are scheduled through Saturday. The WB Off-Ramp to Lincoln is scheduled for short-term closures for the next several weeks. Sherman and Enterprise are closed nightly. The WB On-Ramp from Maple will be closed nightly this week along with the Maple Bridge. The WB Off-Ramp to Serfas Club will be closed until September. The WB On-Ramp from Green River is scheduled for nightly closures this week.
- #10 The SB 71 to EB 91 Connector is closed nightly this week. The EB On-Ramp from Main Street will be closed nightly. Closure of the EB 91 at the 15 will continue to be closed nightly for the next several weeks. Ontario under the I-15 is also scheduled for nightly closures the next several weeks.
