THE FIRST
CONSTITUTION
IN SPAIN
IT TOOK PLACE IN CÁDIZ IN 1812 AND IT WAS CALLED LA
PEPA, BECAUSE IT WAS SIGNED IN SAINT JOSEPHS DAY
( 19TH MARCH).
IT WAS REALLY
IMPORTANT FOR
THESE SIX
REASONS:
1. It was the first constitution in Spain.
It was really modern
and advanced.
It established equality
and freedom for
everyone.
Spain was organized
as:
Costitutional Monarchy were there was
a King, there were ministers that were
voted.
People could vote at the age
of 18 (but only men ).
