This document proposes a model for collaboration between industry and education in India. It suggests allowing students to intern with companies for 2-4 years starting after their first year of study. This would allow students to learn essential skills at their own cost and time while companies gain industry-ready candidates. The model benefits students by making them industry-ready and helping pay for college, benefits companies by reducing training costs, and benefits colleges by improving placements and interactions with professionals. A calendar of events like starter kits and boot camps is proposed to facilitate the process.

 Don’t attend college regularly.

 Intern Trainee – After 1yr Bachelors, Masters from
day one.
 Intern Period 2years to 4years.
 Eligibility criteria:
 Preference to candidates who have worked on starter
kits and boot camps
 Maintaining 60% for their respective degree.
 Participation in contests and events.
 Learning Essential skills at their own cost and time.

 Corporates needs to empower and trust students as early possible.
 Build trust with them by giving them small and regular basic work.
