This proposal explores the potential of using unused DVDs as an alternative material for solar panels. Previous studies have shown that arranging DVDs in series can produce high electric power similar to solar panels. The proposal aims to experiment on developing a prototype solar panel from DVDs, called PASSUS, and determine their viability. The research method will involve literature reviews, experiments, and product development. If successful, DVD solar panels could provide a cheaper renewable energy option, while reducing electronic waste. However, more research is still needed to evaluate their long-term performance, economic feasibility, and environmental impacts.
