2. • This study aims to determine the growth of spring onions (Allium
fustulosum) when applied to Madre de cacao and Banana peels as
Fermented Plant Juice.
Specially, this study aims to:
Assess the growth performance of spring onion applied with fermented
plant juice.
Assess the yield of the spring onion applied with fermented plant juice.
To identify the best ratio that can enhance the growth parameters of spring
onions.

scallions.
• They are tasty, immensely versatile, and easy to
grow.
• Spring onions are part of the Allium Family.
• It is one of the important vegetables that has the
potential to be developed intensively and
commercial production for marketing prospects.

application which is FPJ for the effectiveness if the growth and yield.

- This idea will help the farmers as guide in determining the effectiveness
of the various treatment application for spring onions.

10. USES OF FERMENTED PLANT JUICE
Fermented Plant Juice is another kind of
Organic Fertilizer which is naturally made from
plant materials. This can be used to spray or
sprinkle on plants. (Mabalod, 2010). FPJ is derived
from mixing the young shoots of the plants with
molasses and/or crude sugar and fermented in one
(1) week.
11. NUTRIENT CONTENT OF FERMENTED
PLANT JUICE
FPJ gives more nitrogen to plants and enhances the
ability of plants to photosynthesize or make their
own food . It also gives additional phosphorus and
helps plants absorb more phosphorus from the soil.
It helps crops to absorb nutrient directly for growing
healthy and enabling their potentiality.
12. EFFECTS OF FERMENTED PLANT JUICE TO
PLANT GROWTH
FPJ produced early flowers and fruits compared to
untreated plants due to the enhanced production of
auxin and essential nutrients. This research may
provide additional literature on the importance of
organic concoctions and extracts as natural farming
and ensuring future sustainable eco – friendly
agriculture practices. ( Alam, Md. Amirul, 2017).
